In 2007, forty million larvae of whitefish and ripus were launched, as well as ten million larvae of burbot. Currently, the lake is considered the main and the largest ripus base. Every year, fish farmers, thanks to the newest incubation technologies, collect more than a dozen million eggs of whitefish and ripus. Those who come to the lake in summer, have the opportunity to catch large specimens of burbot, whose weight can reach twelve kilograms. Good catch of pike perch or pike. It should be noted, however, that the pike perch population on Lake Argazi has decreased significantly in recent years, it can not be found in all places. Some lucky fishermen manage to catch carp, its population is small, the feeding is good, so it rarely goes to the bait. Single carp specimens can weigh twelve kilograms. At the end of the 20th century (in 1998), sturgeon was planted in Argazi. Very rarely, but some specimens come across now. The river Kaelim flows into the lake, it is through it that the stream trout falls here, there is a chance to meet rainbow trout, the weight of which can be three kilograms.
