Anthropogenic impact on the biosphere and its consequences

Since the birth of mankind, his intervention in the environment has occurred. The degree of its influence depends on the nature of the damage caused. Anthropogenic impact on the biosphere is due to human activities. To date, this is the most important environmental factor affecting the world around us.

At every stage of human development, interference in the environment was different. There are several stages in the manifestation of anthropogenic impact on the biosphere.

Initially, it was minimal and limited only to natural needs in food and water.

Then people began to hunt, not doing much harm to nature. It was in the early period of the development of mankind.

Later, more serious interventions in the ecosystem began. People began to plow the land and cut down forests.

After this, the stage began, during which people exerted the greatest influence on the ecosystems and the biosphere as a whole.

Urbanization has caused pollution of the atmosphere and its components. And this process is gaining strength every year.

Anthropogenic impact on the biosphere can be slightly reduced if you plant trees with trees and other greens. It is also necessary to organize park areas to reduce the degree of air pollution and noise pollution.

The biosphere is part of the earth's shell. It is inhabited by living organisms that form chains, the biological cycle and other connections. Their violations lead to irreversible consequences. The human intervention or anthropogenic impact on the biosphere is not always positive. There were toxic sources, pernicious not only for living organisms, but for all mankind.

The balance that exists in nature, the composition of the soil, the number of animals and the variety of plants changes.

The harmful emissions of industrial enterprises reach enormous proportions. Air, water are polluted, which leads to a decrease in people's living standards. Building construction, the expansion of cities is changing the landscape of the area. Those plants and animals that were characteristic of the area, disappear.

Pollution of water bodies, rivers and other water bodies affects not only the nearby nature, but also the environment of the whole planet. Anthropogenic impact on the biosphere in this case is of a large scale. Sewage falls into rivers and lakes, but, as is known, all waters flow to the World Ocean. Therefore, all harmful substances invariably pollute other territories. Toxic substances, heavy metal salts, oil products and other chemical compounds enter the water.

It is impossible not to mention the irrational use of resources that land gives us. Anthropogenic impact on the lithosphere is also a human problem. During their activity, people extracted about 125 billion tons of coal, over 100 billion tons of various minerals, 32 billion tons of oil. All this causes processes on the surface of the earth and in its interior, which are irreversible. Most of the resources are not renewed and their reserves run out. Here you can identify the following types of environmental pollution :

1. Anthropogenic impact on the composition of soils.

2. Erosion of the soil.

3. Salinization or water logging

4. Desertification of lands

5. Land alienation.

The development of subsoil affects all the components of the environment that surrounds the person.

People should not allow environmental disasters that have occurred recently. Mass spillage of petroleum products leads to the death of marine living organisms and pollution of water spaces. Accidents at nuclear power plants are the most large-scale catastrophes. As a result, not only live organisms die, but humans as well.
