All herbs are an integral part of the ecosystem of the planet

All herbs are an integral part of the ecosystem of our planet. This type of plant is common on all continents, except, perhaps, the North and South Poles. Without them, life would not be the same as we used to see it now. And all because herbs are a great source of useful elements for both animals and humans.

What is grass?

So, as always, start with the basic definition. So, all herbs are plants, whose main difference is that they do not have a stiff trunk. That is, they grow directly from the ground, and shoots go from the main stem. Although there are exceptions, for example, a banana: in fact, despite the fact that it is able to reach a few meters in height, it still applies to this type of plant.

Classification of herbs

There are many different divisions invented by man in order to order all kinds of herbs. First of all, they are divided into cultural and wild. The first are grown by people to meet their own needs, and the latter grow themselves, as they are part of the wild nature.

Also, grasses are divided into annual, biennial and perennial. As can be understood from the name, such a classification arose because of the life span of the main stem of the plant.

All herbs are an integral part of the ecosystem

For many organisms, grass is the main source of food. Thus, most insects eat this particular plant, occasionally changing it to leaves of bushes and trees. The same applies to animals living in wild conditions.

But the use of herbs is much wider. Having studied all the properties of these plants, he managed to use them in pharmacology, for the manufacture of medicines. In the same industry, for processing them on fabric, dyes, cosmetics and so on.

Considering all this, it is possible to say with confidence: if there were no herbs on our planet, today we would not know our own world.
