Actor Ivan Dmitriev was born in Vyshny Volochok on July 30, 1915.

Road to the big screen

In 1939 he acted in the film "The Fourth Periscope." This work has brought some success, the young actor managed to attract the attention of filmmakers with his work. But the first serious role appeared in his biography only ten years later. He played Dmitry Pavlov in the film "Academician Ivan Pavlov".

But the great glory and indescribable success overtook Ivan Dmitriev as much in 1955, when the big screen came out the film "Behind the Storefront Showcase." The character of the actor was honest and responsible, decent and very positive - Comrade Krylov. Throughout the whole picture, he becomes a victim of experienced fraudsters, gets into a difficult situation, but despite these difficulties, after all the main character finds his very one and only, his love ...

The comedy role of the enamored Staropa was a success in Dmitriev's filmography. And the picture received adoration and recognition even in the foreign box office.

For Yevgeny Leonov, this film was the most significant in his life: when they shot an episode in which his character was bathing in a bath under a cheerful song about washing Marusenka's nosy, and at that time a predator "looks in" at him, this day the actor had a son ( Much later this adult boy played in the series "Daddy's Daughters").

Theatrical works

For ten years, Ivan Petrovich serves in the Baltic Fleet Theater. From that moment his birth began as an actor of theatrical. And at the same time Dmitriev strode through the Great Patriotic War. He took part in the defense of Leningrad, Estonia, Kronstadt. He has many medals, the Order of the Red Star and the Patriotic War II degree. Terrible time

But the leap year 2000 was very difficult for Ivan Petrovich: his beloved wife, Galina Grigorievna, quietly passed away. Their strong alliance lasted almost half a century. He had not yet grasped the grief that had fallen upon him, as after only 13 days Anton's son was gone. He fell asleep in his chair and did not wake up. He was only 43 years old.

Even a strong, pampering person, it is very difficult to survive such stress. Dmitriev has turned 84 years old ...

This was the beginning of the end of the great artist: because of this grief, he developed a cancerous tumor in the lung. Perhaps, with another combination of circumstances and with a timely appeal to doctors, it would be possible to somehow improve the situation. But what happened happened ... Only three years passed, and Ivan Dmitriev was reunited with his family in the best of the worlds.
