A story about the life and work of Prishvin M.М.

Mikhail Mikhailovich Prishvin is one of the great Russian writers who was inspired by mother nature by his literary works. The most interesting thing was that he drew all the information for stories and stories from his diaries, in which he described his impressions and observations about nature and life in general. This he did in great detail and naturalistic. And these diaries he used to lead from childhood, this is what his father taught him. This is how Prishvin's talent for fiction developed in such a slightly unusual way.

A short story about the life and work of Prishvin

If we talk about his biography, he lived a very long and amazing life, which, like any other person, was full of events, good and bad.

A story about the life and work of Prishvin should start with a description of the most important dates and events in his life. He was born on January 23, 1873 in the Orel province of Yelets district in the grandfather's family estate Khrushchev-Levshino. His grandfather's name was Dmitri Ivanovich Prishvin, at that time he was a very rich merchant.

Father and mother

Father, Mikhail Dmitrievich Prishvin, inherited a lot of money and the estate of Constantylovo. He lived in a lordly manner, very fond of horses and horse racing and was a breeder of Oryol trotters. He even managed to win prizes at the races. He also liked to plant gardens and flowers. Hunting was also a part of his life.

But this tale ended very quickly when he lost a huge amount of money. To pay his debts, he had to lay the estate and sell a stud farm. After such shocks, his health deteriorated, he was paralyzed, and soon he died.

However, the writer's mother, Maria Ivanovna, was a pragmatic and strong woman. It came from an Old Believer kind of Ignatov. Left without her husband and children, she still managed to give them a decent education.

School and education

Biography Prishvin indicates that in 1882 he was sent to study in a village school for primary education. A year later he was transferred to the Yelets Gymnasium in the first class. Learning to him was not so easy. For 6 years of study, he twice stayed in the second year. And in the fourth grade, because of the scandal with the geography teacher V. V. Rozanov (who later became a well-known philosopher), Michael was expelled from the gymnasium.

In 1893 Prishvin graduated from the Tyumen real school, then continued his studies at the Riga Polytechnic. And from 1900 to 1900 he studied at an agronomist at the University of Leipzig and defended his diploma as a land surveyor. Three years after he worked as an agronomist and wrote a number of articles and books on agronomy.

Marriage

His first wife was a Smolensk peasant Smoleva Efrosinya Pavlovna, in his diaries he mentions her as Pavlovna, or Frosya. She had already had a second marriage, since her first husband was killed in the Civil War. From this marriage she had a son, Yakov. However Prishvin she gave birth to three more children. True, the first-born Mikhail died as a baby in 1918. The second child, Lev Mikhailovich, when he grew up, became a famous novelist who worked under the pseudonym Alpatov (the name had a family estate in Yelets) and was part of the literary group "Pass". The third son, Peter, became a hunter and in 2009 wrote a book of memoirs. Efrosinya Pavlovna herself lived with her husband for more than 30 years, then they divorced. At the age of 67 he married a second time. Prishvin died in 1954, on the 16th of January. He was buried in Moscow at the Vvedenskoye cemetery.

Characteristics of Prishvin in his work

No matter how brilliant Prishvin could be, until the age of 30 he was doing more preparatory writing work, as if gaining more experience, then to express himself in the literary artistic word.

The story about the life and work of Prishvin is quite fascinating. After all, he traveled a lot. Once he first went to northern Karelia. There, fascinated by local folklore, he wrote a book "In the Edge of the Scared Bird". It immediately felt that the theme of the people, nature and Russia would become its main themes in life and in creativity. All this is very dear to his soul, and therefore he writes about it with great love and patriotism.

Beginning of creativity

Further Prishvin travels to the Murmansk region, to Solovki and to Norway. All his new impressions formed the basis of the remarkable book "Behind the Magic Ball". He has his own style, mixed with strict documentary, where there is a fairy-tale beginning and a figurative-poetic style.

The creative history of Prishvin, or rather, his debut in Russian literature, fell in the revolutionary period of 1906. Then it was hard for him to get through to the literary arena, at the dawn of the Silver Age, and creative competition was very high. The very first story of Prishvin as a writer was called "Sashok". It was published in 1906.

The story of the life and work of Prishvin can be continued by a very interesting fact, which was that his colleagues did not see serious competition in him, for them he was a simple essayist. Yes, he was a member of the Imperial Geographical Society, he was a photographer and an observer. However, they did not even suspect that before them the deepest thinker who in his diary would describe the most dramatic periods of Russia.

New stage

All his life Prishvin traveled a lot and hunted. He was a lively and enthusiastic person, not an office writer. In 1912 he met Maxim Gorky and with his help released his three-volume book.

Then he published his book "The World Cup", which reflected all the agonizing excitement and feelings of Prishvin during the years of the revolution and civil war.

In the 1920s, the book "Berendeye Springs" was a great success, which included fishing, hunting stories and stories about how the peaceful life of people began to be gradually developed. The book also included a rather interesting description, not related to nature. Prishvin was interested in post-revolutionary Russia, where there was a hope for a new happiness. Here the reader suddenly learns Prishvin even better and deeper. The writer becomes popular, he is loved and recognized. A little later he will write an autobiographical work "Koshcheev's chain".

Association "Pass"

A story about the life and work of Prishvin can be supplemented by the fact that in the mid-1920s the writer closely associated himself with the literary creative association "Pass". Here Prishvin behaves very competently with his colleagues and editors and tactfully responds to criticism.

From his next trip to the Far East, he brings his new novel "Ginseng", written in the traditions of "moody" plotless prose. In the terrible hungry 30-ies the writer continues to work and bring light to readers. In recent years, he has been writing children's literature, which included the book "Sun Storage".

The last works of Prishvin included the novel "Osudarev road" and a story-tale "Ship's thicket". There is no point in enumerating more of the works written by this writer. But they are all dear to the reader, because they still give the necessary warmth and light, which are so necessary for the upbringing of a normal healthy personality.
