A few recommendations on how to draw a parrot

The parrot is a bright and exotic bird, and the image with it, decorated in a beautiful baguette, can look very impressive on the wall of the room. If you want to draw a parrot, then you will need a sheet of paper, a simple pencil and a soft eraser. You should start with a rough sketch. This is a very important part when creating a complete, complete picture. After all, in order for the image to look harmonious in the future, all its details must be thought out and properly arranged, that is, they are located in the right places. You should also take into account the size of objects, their ratio to each other, symmetry, etc.

Today we draw a parrot, sitting on a branch. Try to arrange (place) it on the sheet in such a way that the figure is in the center. From the bottom you can leave a little more space, so that the branch, on which the bird will later sit, also fits well. To begin with, you need to outline two circles a little oblong in shape. The first, which is smaller, will be the head, and the second, which is bigger, is the trunk. Between these two ovals draw a slightly curved line - a schematic neck.

The next step, how to draw a parrot, will be a sketch of the future paws. Note that in birds the knees bend back. Therefore, draw each foot in the form of two segments that are relatively small at each other. Where there should be fingers, you can slightly outline two small circles. Schematically designate the branch on which the bird is sitting. It must cross both circles, which then become fingers.

The next step, how to draw a parrot, is a sketch of his wings and tail. In folded form, the wings of a bird can be slightly longer than the trunk. The tail can reach the size of the parrot itself, therefore, behind the large oval, designate a segment approximately equal to its length along with the head of the feathered creature. Design a curved beak, eye. The preliminary sketch can be considered ready, so we proceed to the next stage, how to draw a parrot.

We begin to study the bird in more detail, getting closer to the goal. A little more closely we trace the contours of the head, trunk, and wings. When drawing the feet, note that they are thicker to the base. Some parrots in these places have "panties" of down, so the upper part of the legs can be hidden under such plumage. The lower part of the limbs is thinner. Where we have previously drawn circles, now there should be fingers with claws. As the bird sits on a branch, it goes without saying that it clings to it. Therefore, the fingers should be bent accordingly. Detail the beak and eye. Work a twig.

It remains to erase the auxiliary lines, to get a clean picture, which can now be painted. Here, let your imagination and paints, colored pencils or pastels, come to your aid. Make the parakeet feathers bright and cheerful. Add a few shadows for the volume, select a few individual feathers. On the wings and tail, you can draw a pattern or make them generally of a different color.

The limit of fantasy in the question of how to draw a parrot is practically nonexistent. Relive the picture with an unusual background. But remember that it should not be brighter than the bird itself, otherwise the parrot is simply "lost" and will look flat.
