The main advantage of such a birthday is that you do not need to pay special attention to table setting and recipe selection. Fresh air and hunger, inevitably arising in such a "healthy" environment, will be the best condiments for your dishes. What to cook for a birthday in nature, so it was delicious, satisfying and enjoyed by everyone? We offer several recipes for dishes that can form the basis of a festive table.

The recipe for shish kebab from pork

What to prepare for a birthday in nature as a main dish? It so happened that in the whole of the former USSR the main hot meat dish, which is cooked at the stake, was, is and, most likely, will continue to be shish kebab for a long time. In the Caucasus - his homeland - mostly roast shish kebab from mutton. But in our shops more frequent guests are pork, beef and chicken - of them, and cooks are loved by decidedly all kebabs.

Our summer menu for the birthday will include shish kebab from pork.

To prepare it we will need:

  • 2 kg of pork (rump);
  • 4 onion bulbs;
  • Seasoning for shish kebab;
  • Tomato - 100 g.

Marinate meat in tomato, salt and seasonings. Refrigerate for several hours.

In addition to the shish kebab, what to prepare for a birthday in nature? The best addition to meat is vegetables. And if we have a fire, then it's a sin not to use it. As a hot snack, we suggest preparing eggplants with bacon on skewers.

The recipe for this dish is as simple as it is genius. Of the domestic preparations, we need an eggplant (at the rate of 1 vegetable per 1 skewer) and a piece of fat.

At home cut the eggplants with rings as thick as half a centimeter, bacon - slices thinner. Add salt to the vegetables. On the spot you will only have to string alternately eggplants with bacon on skewers and bake in a charcoal until golden brown. Rotate the skewers with vegetables you need with no less zeal than with meat.

However, some baked eggplants should not be limited. On the skewers will be well prepared and other vegetables: Bulgarian pepper, tomatoes, onions - all this can be alternated and so alternately offer guests. In addition to baked, fresh vegetables will be very handy: tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers. It is better to take them with you whole, and cut already into place on fairly large pieces, especially if you spend a children's holiday.
