What are passive acoustic systems?
What do concerts, clubs, performances of artists or politicians, mass actions have in common? This is their destination. They should bring music, words, an idea or a song to the listener. The main thing is to louder, so everyone will hear! The decisive role, allowing to achieve the expected effect, in such events is played by audio equipment, that is, passive acoustic systems.
Multiband passive acoustic systems necessarily combine in their design two or more sound emitters (speakers) that reproduce each of their range of audio frequencies. For example, a system with three speakers works as follows: high frequencies are reproduced by a tweeter or a pitching machine, medium ones are reproduced by mid-range, and low ones are played by low-frequency ones. This solution significantly increased the quality of the reproduced sound and increased the output power.
With the speakers, we sorted it out. Now let's talk about the acoustic design of the system. It can be expressed by an acoustic bass reflex or a box. When manufacturing the box, plastic or wood is used. It should be noted that the speakers, which have a wooden box, reproduce sound much better. The truth and the price for such systems is slightly higher than for "plastic" ones.
An important factor that can affect the price of the product is sensitivity. This is an indicator that characterizes the effort required to "shake" the speakers. The more sensitivity, the smaller the power amplifier they need.
