"Wattsy" - recreation center, where you can enjoy the unity with nature

Recently, modern tourists increasingly prefer not expensive overseas resorts, and domestic recreation centers. One of these places is the "Wattsy" - a recreation center, which is located in the heart of Russian nature, in the Novgorod region.

Location

The recreation center "Wattsy" (Valdai - a city near which it is located) was opened relatively recently, in 2004. Located in the village, which borrowed its name. Although the village is very small, about 30 yards, but very cozy and remote from the city bustle. The base is located 12 km from the city of Valday (or rather, its center) of the Novgorod region, practically in the thick of the forest.

Cottages are located (one of them allows settling with animals) practically on the lake shore, across the road. However, the movement along it is stalemate and practically absent, but it is quite possible to approach the house on your own transport without hindrance.

The houses are exclusively double rooms, in some of them there is an opportunity of arrangement of an additional place. The cottage accommodates up to 7 people. In winter, the premises are heated. In use, guests are provided with a microwave, refrigerator and a brazier (located on the street). Also there are shower cabins, a toilet and, naturally, towels and a hairdryer.

Despite the fact that there is practically no distance between some of the houses, they all have good sound insulation, the windows look in different directions, and the verandas of each of them overlooking one of the lakes.

On the territory of the base there is a large parking lot, so there is always the opportunity to come caravan cars with friends or take a motor home with them.

Services

"Wattsy" - recreation center, which provides an opportunity to choose a diet. If desired, you can order three meals a day or pay only breakfast, lunch or dinner. The menu is in each room and is scheduled on the days of the week. In addition, you can visit the bar, restaurant and cafe.

For recreation guests are provided with a bath, a beach (where you can fish), a brazier and a gazebo, as well as a home zoo (here you can "chat" with chickens, rabbits, goats, pigs). In addition, the fans of hunting will like it.

Athletes will also have something to do: volleyball, table tennis, billiards and even paintball. In addition, "Wattsy" is a recreation center where you can rent skis, bicycles, boats, catamarans and even ride horses.

Not far from the recreation center "Wattsy" are various attractions that you can visit if you want:

• Iveron Svyatoozersky Monastery, which is located in the Valdai itself;
• Museum of the Bells.

The only drawback that the recreation center "Wattsy" has (reviews say this, although in some cases this is an undoubted advantage) is the almost complete absence of any connection, including no wi-fi.

Accommodation of children. Children under the age of 3 years are accommodated free of charge without providing a separate bed.

Special conditions. Guests of the base are given the opportunity to stay with dogs in some of the houses. The service is chargeable. The price depends on the breed and the size of the animal.

How to get from Moscow and St. Petersburg?

"Wattsy" is a recreation center, which can be reached either by train or by car. In the first case it is necessary to take the train by the direction Moscow-Pskov (this train departs from the Leningrad station) and drive to the Valdai station.

From St. Petersburg to this city there are buses, directly to Valdai.

If you get to this place by car, then you need to move along the Moscow-St. Petersburg highway (E105) and turn near the traffic police post to Dolgi Brodi (396 km from Moscow and 304 km from St. Petersburg).
