Childhood

August 6, 1928 in a family of immigrants from Czechoslovakia, Varhol was born the fourth child, called him Andrew. Warhol Andy is the creative pseudonym of Andrey Varhol. During his birth, the family had lived in the city of Pittsburgh , Pennsylvania for several years , so he rightfully took on an American name. The family had nothing to do with the creative environment. My father worked all his life in a coal mine, and my mother was leading a household.

He easily passed all the exams and began to study commercial illustrations and graphic drawing.
