Types of Poker

Poker poker games have many different variations, most of which were created in the United States in the mid-1900s.
Many players repeatedly asked themselves which version of the game is most interesting and offers the best prospects for self-development. Below are the most popular and famous versions of poker and their features.

The three most popular options are distributed in casinos around the world and can be divided into the following groups:

• Dro-poker: A game in which a player is dealt a complete set of closed cards, which can then be improved by replacing cards. The most common is a five-card. This is one of the simplest types of game, in which most often play at home.
• Stud Poker: A game in which each player receives a combination of open and closed cards for several rounds. The most common are seven-card and five-card stud.
• Hold'em: A game in which open and closed cards are optimally combined. Most popular: Omaha Hold'em and Texas Hold'em (better known as Texas poker - the most common casino game around the world).

Here are some more less popular and not so well-known varieties of poker:

• Lowball: the worst hand wins the pot. There are differences in the rules about whether the Aces are considered to be the worst cards. The most common options are Razz and 2-7 Triple Draw.
• Hi-Lo split: the pot is divided between the worst and the best bet. For example, the worst bet is to have 5 cards with ranks from 8 or less.
• To kill a game is a game with a fixed limit, and if a player wins two pots in a row, the bets will be doubled.
• Twist the round in which players can buy another card from the deck. If a player does not like his cards, he can buy another by adding money to the bank.
• Double flip (also known as the end of the world and jaw wins) was introduced to club games across Europe in recent years. It was designed to keep inactive players in the game, and therefore in a pub or club. If the remaining players have the same cards and the same ones were from any of the players that were eliminated, then they are given a certain percentage of the winnings from the bank (it is negotiated before the beginning of each game).
• The Mexican herd has the same rules as the five-card stud, but the cards are constantly mixed and handed out in private. Each player decides which of two closed cards he takes.

Mixed varieties of poker

In this game you can try a mixed format, for example, half an hour Texas poker, then half an hour of Seven-Card Stud, etc. There are many types of mixed games. The most famous is HORSE (HORSE). This is a mixture of Hold'em, Omaha, Razz, High-Low and Seven-Card Stud. Each game usually lasts a fixed amount of time, and then the players move on to the next game.

Other mixed poker variations include:

• HOSE - the same as HORSE, but without raz.
• HOE - the same as HORSE, except for Razz or Seven-Card Stud.
• HO - Texas poker and high-low.
• OE - Seven Card Stud and Omaha.
• HA - Texas Pot-Limit mixed with pot-limit Omaha.
• Omaha high-low mixed - Omaha and pot-limit high-low.
• Mixed Hold'em - Texas Hold'em, with a fixed limit and without.
• Eight games Mix - with a fixed limit: 2-7 Triple Draw, Texas Hold'em, Razz, Pot Limit Omaha, High-Low Split, Seven Card Stud and Unlimited Omaha and Texas Hold'em.

Some poker games just do not fit into the above categories, they have their own special rules and, of course, their fans. These options are most often used in home games. Here are some of them:

• Hairpins.
• Countdown.
• Shanghai.
• Stud Poker HORSE.
