Tractor T-150 and its modifications

In both versions, the engine is in front position. Under the cab is a gearbox, which is rigidly attached to the frame. The parts for the box are unified, they are used for both models. In both versions, the fuel tank is located at the rear.

Tractor T-150 has a diesel engine (SMD 62 - in wheel design, SMD 60 - in caterpillar), which has a capacity of 150 hp. Air purification takes place in a three-level system. The first one is a cyclone filter. It qualitatively removes large dust from the incoming air - this extends the life of fine filters. Allows you to operate the tractor in harsh conditions, to use it more effectively in field work and in off-road conditions.

Tractor T-150 caterpillar has a mechanical transmission. It is possible to shift gears under load and on the go, this allows making couplings equipped with a hydraulic clamp. To switch the driving mode, the tractor must be stopped. The transmission is double-flow. This ensures that each track can be moved independently separately. Slippage of the clutch in the gearbox ensures that the track lags behind when turning. The rear drum is the drive, it is driven. Has steering.

Tractor T-150 (both caterpillar and wheeled) can use many types of attachments. But to a greater extent, its use is advisable in the wheeled version. This version is more common, therefore, the equipment was produced to a greater extent for this model.

The T-150K tractor is a wheeled version. Equipped with a steering control, it has a mechanical transmission. Hydraulic clutches are used to operate the gearbox. It has two half-frames, each of which is equipped with a driving bridge. It is possible to disconnect the rear axle. The cab, gearbox and engine are located on the front half-frame. Attachments are attached to the rear. The tractor is controlled by changing the position of the half-frame. The movement is carried out by hydraulic cylinders. The front and rear wheel pairs are completely identical in size.

Such tractors are widely used in road construction. The works are most often used as a bulldozer or a forklift. The equipment is installed in both versions.
