Pike became famous thanks to a series of fantastic romance novels under the general title "Wings". Her debut book, presented by the famous writer Stephanie Meyer, whose pen belongs to the cult "Twilight Saga", was a real event in the literary world. The company "Walt Disney", anticipating the success of the book, acquired the right to film, and the novel "Wings" and its main character, the young Laurel instantly acquired millions of fans.

Childhood and youth

The future popular writer was born in 1981 in Salt Lake City (Utah), she spent her childhood in Phoenix, and her youth in Driggs (Idaho), where she moved with her whole family. From an early age, her bright creative personality began to manifest. The girl came up with amazingly colorful fairy tales, which she carried on paper, sang in the choir and took part in the dramatic circle performances. After graduating from high school Pike Eprilinne entered Lewis Clark College, where she studied literary and theatrical art for three years. During the training, Eprilinn worked as a waitress, and she devoted her free time to performances in the city's amateur theater. Her favorite role was Lisa Doolittle from the famous musical "My Fair Lady". After completing his studies, Pike Eprilinne received her Bachelor of Arts degree.

The path to a literary career

Soon after graduation, she met Kenneth Pike, who a year and a half later became her husband. Later, the writer admitted that their meeting during the service in the Mormon Church was a love at first sight. Together with her husband, she moved to the city of Provo (Utah), where Kenneth studied at the Faculty of Philosophy. To give the spouse the opportunity to complete the education, Pike Eprilinne assumed the responsibility for the maintenance of the family, at first training waitresses, and later working as assistant restaurant manager. After the birth of the first child, Eprilinne stopped working and devoted herself to the baby. At the same time she began to write her first novel, while doing editorial work for the spiritual literary agency "Testament", for the sake of qualitative implementation of which she completed the editing course at the private Mormon University named after Brigham Young.

The long-awaited success

Soon the couple had a second child, and despite the fact that after graduation Kenny began to work as a teacher, the young family still did not have enough money. Eprilinne continued to write and had already finished three novels, but could not find an interested publisher. Young people did not drop their hands, Pike Eprilinne studied obstetrics and started courses for future and young mothers in the Center for the Support of the Birth of Arizona. And her husband continued to work and study at the University of Brigham Young at the Faculty of Law. A few months later, the literary agent Jodie Riemer contacted Eprintin and agreed to represent her work, but the publishers were still not interested. Then Pike remembered her childhood fascination with fantastic stories and decided to write a book for a teenage audience. Her fourth novel, she finished almost on the eve of the birth of the third child. A few months later, the publishing house Harper Teen was finally interested in this literary work. In 2009, after the editorial revision of the debut novel "Wings" was published. A romantic story about the adventures of the young fairy Laurel and the secrets of the magical land of Avalon instantly became a bestseller. A novice writer received a long-awaited confession and confidence that she did not waste time on empty dreams, as she had thought only recently. Later in her interviews already popular author Eprilinne Pike expressed her gratitude to Stephanie Meyer, whose works had a significant impact on her work.
