The second ring of the Moscow metro: circuit. Metro construction in Moscow

By 2020, it was planned to completely complete the construction of the Second Metro Ring in Moscow. However, these terms were later reduced to 2018.

It is difficult to overestimate the value of the line being built. Currently, the metro load during peak hours is 5.5 people per square meter. After the Second Ring of the Moscow Metro (its scheme is given in the article), or the TPK (Third Transfer Circuit), as it is often called, will be put into operation, the workload will drop to five people per square meter. People will be able to spend much less time on a trip than now.

History

The idea of building another ring line in the metro ripened in the heads of officials from the Moscow authorities for a long time. This project was considered at the beginning of the seventies of the last century. Work on it continued in 1985, when it was planned to build four chord lines, which, joining, and would become a ring line.

In 2005, we again returned to the idea of building, when three stations of the "Business Center" had already been built. It was then decided to build a separate ring line. For this purpose, the construction of nine new stations was planned. However, the project lay unrealized.

When in 2010 he was again discussed, the development of the whole future ring remained unknown. A lot of additions and changes were made. If the northern part of the new line seemed more or less clear, then the project of its southern part was not yet.

At the end of 2011, it was decided to connect the northern part with the southern part, which for decades was a project by the Great Ring Line. They approved a new version and the time for the construction of the Moscow metro. The year 2020 was replaced by 2018.

But even when the construction began, new changes to the plan continued to be made. In early 2015, it was decided to join the movement of the TPK and Solntsevsky radius with a stretch between the stations Shelepikha and Park Pobedy, so as not to overload the already loaded Arbatsko-Pokrovskaya line.

The aim of the designers was to reduce the flow of passengers from the Ring Line of the metro, making the outskirts of the city more accessible. The construction of TPK is the implementation of those projects that have been actively discussed for several decades.

The project began to be implemented in 2011.

Stages of construction

Currently, many branches of the metro cross the city. Moscow has so far only one Ring Line in the metro. But soon its congestion will be lifted, since on the way - the Second Ring of the Moscow Metro. Its scheme acquires the final form. The length of the line will be more than fifty kilometers, and the TPK will be located closer to the outskirts. It is hoped that a new line will be taken daily by almost a million people.

Step by step the Second Ring of the Moscow Metro is being built. The scheme can also change during the construction process. In each year a new site is put into operation. The Moscow metro plan (TPK) looks like this:

2015

The first part, which was supposed to begin its work in 2015, runs from the stations "Khoroshevskaya" to "Lower Maslivka". The Business Center and Khoroshevskaya connects separately. The first section will consist of six stations: Petrovsky Park, Lower Maslivka, Khodynka Field, Shelepikha, Khoroshevskaya and Business Center. The length of this site exceeds twelve kilometers.

2016 year

In 2016, the north-western part will open from Kuntsevskaya to Khoroshevskaya and north-east from Aviamotornaya to Nizhne Maslivka.

2017 year

In 2017, part of the Second Ring will be opened to the "Kashirskaya" station. A part of the Kozhukhovskaya line will also be built, which will enter the TPK and connect the Nekrasovka area with the Aviamotornaya station.

2018 year

In the indicated year, it is planned to close the Second Ring of the Moscow Metro. The scheme will be implemented after the opening of the southern, eastern and south-eastern parts. TPK will connect the stations "Kuntsevskaya" and "Kakhovka", crossing the "Kaluga" and "Prospect Vernadsky."

And what will be inside?

Part of the tunnels will be built traditionally, with two shields six meters in diameter. The other part is European, with one shield nine meters in diameter. This method was called "Spanish" in Moscow, as it was brought by the designers of Bustren, a company that built almost two hundred kilometers of lines in Madrid in the twelve previous years.

Thanks to new technologies for underground construction in Moscow, it is possible to save twenty percent of budget funds under the ground, while at the same time minimizing the inconveniences of residents and visitors of the capital connected with the construction.

Most TPK stations will consist of two tiers. At the same time on the second floor all the technical rooms that are located at the current stations are located at the ends.

TC near

New construction of the metro in Moscow is very encouraging and shopping lovers. Many favorite "Outlet Belaya Dacha" and TRC "Mega Belaya Dacha" will be closer to the metro stations. In the TRC "Megapolis" it will be possible to get from the station "Technopark". A new shopping center "Aviapark" on Leningradsky Prospekt will wait for its visitors from the new metro station "Khodynka Field". From the Ramenki station on Michurinsky Avenue, Metro passengers will be able to get to the Tiara shopping center, and from the Verkhnie Likhobory shopping center on the Dmitrovskoye Highway to the Metrometall shopping center.

Travel time

Muscovites will get from one area to another much faster. The time spent on the trip will be reduced. Particularly happy residents of the outskirts, which work nearby. At the same time, they are forced to spend a lot of time to travel to the neighboring branches of the metro. Moscow, alas, takes a very long time on the road. But now they will not need to reach the Ring Line, which will cut tens of minutes every day. To date, every third passenger must go to the center in order to get to the neighborhood next door.

Time from the station "Aviamotornaya" to the station "Rizhskaya" takes twenty minutes. And according to the TPK, it will be halved. Twenty-two minutes spent on the way from the station "Electrozavodskaya" to the station "Sokolniki", will be reduced to just three minutes.

Occupancy

It is assumed that the second ring will reduce the load on the functioning Ring Line from thirty to fifty percent. The indicator on this line during peak hours from seven people per square meter will be reduced to four and a half, and this is a decrease in passenger traffic by twenty five percent. And the second ring of the Moscow underground at this time will take on more than four hundred thousand people. At one station "Petrovsky Park" alone, one hundred and fifty thousand people will travel daily.

TPK will serve three depots. A day on the new ring will pass from thirty to forty pairs of trains. The eastern part will be serviced by the Nizhegorodsky depot, the southern one by Zamoskvoretskoye, and the western and northwest by Fili.
