The right diet for diarrhea

The diet for diarrhea in adults is somewhat different from a similar diet for children. Adult people can fully control themselves, not paying attention to the deterioration of well-being. In children so it does not work. Nutrition for diarrhea does not differ in variety and it quickly bothers them, so parents need to monitor their food intake. First of all, you need to save the child from the danger of dehydration, to which diarrhea can lead. In addition to the rice boil, the baby can prepare a mild decoction of raisins, blueberries and currants. You can cook jelly, but give it without fruit; Tea with a small amount of sugar and necessarily boiled water.

Between drinks, give the child a glucose-salt solution, which is sold in pharmacies. Speaking about the food of a child during diarrhea, I would like to note that this depends on how old he is. At an infant age for a baby, the optimal option will be the mother's milk, which has everything you need to fight diarrhea. Older children can cook almost all dishes, but cooked steamed and grated.

Sample menu (diet for adults with diarrhea)

Six meals is suggested.

Omelet cooked for a couple or 2 eggs boiled soft-boiled. Oat porridge, white dried bread and black coffee (not strong).

Pudding from low-fat cottage cheese. Mousse from berries of sweet varieties or freshly squeezed orange juice.

What else can help with diarrhea?

Black tea)

Take a teaspoon of dried tea leaves, thoroughly rub with your fingers and swallow. You can drink a small gulp of water (boiled).

Cardamom

It is a natural astringent. Take a tablespoon of cardamom powder and pour 200 ml of boiling water. We insist 15 minutes and drink. This infusion is used in frequent stools, when there is a risk of dehydration.

Potato starch)

In 200 ml of cold water (boiled) we dilute 1 tbsp. A spoonful of starch and drink.

Wheat flour)
