The production program of the enterprise includes the volume, as well as a range of products of a certain quality. The plan reflects the customer demand for the products sold and the company's ability to meet the needs of consumers. The production program of the enterprise is a very important point of the plan. The program indicators characterize the growth rate of gross production. In this case, the quality of the goods must meet the requirements.

  • Rationing. The method is the installation of a single system of rationing. Such a system relies on the norms of raw materials costs, maintenance, labor, fuel, materials, finance, use of the equipment of the enterprise.

  • Balance planning provides a link between resource needs and the sources of their coverage. For this purpose, a balance is made between production capacity, working time, materials, and electricity.

  • Analytical calculation is used for calculation of planned indicators, dynamic analysis. The basic indicators of the baseline level are determined, as well as their change according to the plan.

  • The economic-mathematical method consists in the development of economic models. The dependence of the changed quantity indices is compared with the main factors. In this case, several variants of plans are prepared. Of them, the optimal one is chosen.

  • Analytical graphics allow you to show the results of economic analysis using charts and graphs. Schematically, the quantitative relationship between indicators interfaced.

  • Program-target method. With its help, a plan is drawn up in the form of a set of activities and tasks that have a common goal and deadline.

When planning, a complex of the listed methods is applied, and not any one. Planning types vary in terms of their execution: long-term (10-25 years), medium-term (2-3 years), short-term (1 year, rarely 2 years). All three types of planning correspond to each other, that is, they are coordinated among themselves, as a single whole.
