From time immemorial the dog is considered a true friend of man, and also one of the most intelligent animals. Conversations about the ingenuity of dogs sometimes shock even those who dislike them, to put it mildly. And dog breeders unanimously assert that their wards understand absolutely everything the master has said, down to the smallest detail.

Withdrawing this or that breed of dogs, a man tried to instill in her special qualities, designed to distinguish her from other breeds. Therefore, it makes sense to say that some breeds of dogs have great makings in terms of intelligence along with others.

Dog experts around the world are arguing which dog is the smartest. And they come to the conclusion that the most intelligent breed of dogs is the border collie. Often these dogs can be found both in exhibitions and agility. Border Collies are excellent for training, work gives them real pleasure. Their essential advantages are friendliness and immense love for children. Therefore, often four-footed nannies are given in families where there are kids.

The second place is by right held by poodles. People sometimes do not take poodles seriously, considering them decorative dogs, suitable only for circus performances. However, the cynologists who had experience with this breed, argue that some poodles understand a person with a half-word. German Shepherds took part in many domestic and foreign films and serials. Very common use of them and as service dogs. The power of German shepherds, combined with their excellent learning ability, make these dogs great detectives, guards and true connoisseurs of their craft.

And during the Great Patriotic War, everyone knew firmly: the smartest dogs are German shepherds. After all, you will not send the same poodle with a bunch of bottles with a combustible mixture on the tank! And the sheepdogs were walking, they were dying, but whole companies were saving. They even put a monument for heroism and devotion to man.

Buying a dog of this breed, the owner should remember that she needs constant loads and long walks in the fresh air. The same goes for the Dobermanns. Limited space and lack of training can make a mentally unstable creature out of the dog, taking out its energy not in the most pleasant way for the owner.

The mixing of various breeds, as well as living on the street without food and shelter in the face of constant danger, tempered these animals and gave them wonderful wit.
