The most common varieties of gruel

Gruzd is one of the most massive Russian mushrooms. It grows throughout the European part of the country, in Transbaikalia, Siberia, and the Urals. Different types of mushrooms are most often found in spruce, birch, pine forests. An interesting feature is that these mushrooms are hiding under fallen last year's foliage, so finding them is not so easy. Virtually all types of mushrooms grow in groups. "Hunting" on them can be from the middle of summer to September.

These mushrooms are excellent for pickling, conservation for the winter. All varieties of mushrooms are considered conditionally edible. In order to make them suitable for human consumption, certain treatment is required. As a rule, to remove bitterness, mushrooms are soaked. There are ten types of muck. Below is a description of the five most common.

Mushrooms are real

This variety of taste is considered one of the best, although pre-treatment before eating is also required. Do not collect any mushrooms, they still need to be soaked. The cap of this fungus is convex or flat, and closer to the center - funnel-shaped. Its edges are lowered and slightly wound inside. The diameter is 5-20 cm, the height of the leg is 5-7 cm. On the bonnet, the skin is milky white, it feels slimy to the touch. If damaged, the pulp secretes quite acrid juice, which gradually becomes grayish. Under the hat there are frequent yellowish plates.

Aspen subspecies

This type of mushroom mushrooms is characterized by an interesting shape of the cap. At the edge it is lowered downwards and slightly convex, but closer to the center the bulge increases. The diameter of the cap is 8-12 cm, and the thickness is noticeably smaller than that of a real mushroom. The skin is sticky. It can be white, slightly greyish, and even with pink spots. The height of the foot does not exceed 5 cm. In the aspen subspecies, the lamina are frequent and thin. The pulp secretes the juice. In the air, it does not change its color.

Peppermint

This subspecies has a diameter of 6-18 cm. Its skin is smooth, matte-white. The edges of the cap are convex (the old mushrooms are wavy), closer to the center forming a funnel. The leg of this mushroom is somewhat thinner than that of the two previous species. Height - up to 8 cm. With incisions, the fungus secretes milky juice, which in the air acquires a greenish tinge.

Mulberry pomegranate

Over time, it appears cream or yellowish spots. The flesh of this fungus is very brittle. In case of damage, milky juice is released, which quickly turns off in the air, acquiring a greenish or bluish tinge.

Black mushrooms

Different types of mushrooms are similar in many respects, but this subspecies differs somewhat from their relatives. First, he has an olive-black skin on his hat (diameter up to 15 cm). Secondly, it can be seen concentric circles, which is not typical of most subspecies. The edges of the cap are bent inside, then it becomes slightly convex, and closer to the center forms a funnel. On the inside, there are frequent plates, white at the foot and yellowish closer to the edges. The flesh is rather dense, the damaged places darken. From the breaks and cuts a lot of milky juice is allocated. The leg is high - up to 8 cm.
