In the article we will tell you what it means and what role it played in history.

What is it

The International is movement

The first international appeared at the end of the 19th century under the leadership of Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels, famous representatives of the communist and workers' movement. The total number of internats was 6. All of them were socialist in one way or another and pursued their goal of spreading revolutionary socialist ideas. The principles proclaimed freedom, justice and solidarity.

The Third International (the Comintern - the Communist International) is the largest and most famous. Its leader was VI. Lenin. The active growth of the movement began after the revolution of 1917.
