Few people know that the comedy was a remake of the old version, in which the role of a troubled teenage girl was entrusted to the then young actress Jodie Foster. In 2003, a new "Freaky Friday" was released. Actors and the role of an exciting tape that managed to surpass the original, still cause interest in the audience.

At first glance, the plot of the comedy does not seem complicated or original. Anna's daughter, played by Lindsay Lohan, enters a difficult age, her relationship with her mother is gradually deteriorating. Mother Tess in the performance of Jamie Lee Curtis is trying to combine a difficult job with the upbringing of two children, while not forgetting about his personal life. She has a man who wants to marry her. The news of the upcoming wedding makes the teenage daughter move even further away from Tess.

The woman, trying to establish relations with her daughter, persuades her to have dinner together in a Chinese restaurant. But Tess's attempt to find a common language with a teenager fails, they again quarrel. In the conflict, the employee of the restaurant interferes, which offers debaters a special biscuit. The next morning on awakening Anna and Tess find out that they have changed their bodies. From this begins the most interesting part of the comedy, whose name we have translated as "Freaky Friday". Actors play so well that it is difficult to tear yourself away from the screen even for a second.

The actress fell in love with the audience, playing the role of heroines, fleeing from maniacs in horror and thrillers. So it is more unexpected to see the star in the role of the mother of the family first, and then of the restless teenager, locked in the body of an adult woman. And with that, and with other ways she copes remarkably, however, naturally the characters of the "Freaky Friday" also appear, depicting their characters.

So, the first 20-30 minutes of screen time, Jamie Lee Curtis embodies the image of a confident woman, whose vast life experience allows foreseeing everything in the world. As soon as the actress begins to play "daughter", her appearance is amazingly changing. As if from nowhere appear angularity and stoop, face is decorated with a foolish smirk. This transformation is one of the best moments of the comedy "Freaky Friday", the actors of which really know their business.

Everything changes when in accordance with the plot there is an exchange of bodies. In the guise of a "schoolgirl" comes rigor, concentration, accuracy. She believably portrays tenderness for the younger son, who considers herself to be a brother, chastises the "daughter" and her friends, puts the teacher in the place, demonstrates self-confidence in almost any situation.

As was to be assumed, the comedy was primarily a "film of two actresses." Nevertheless, other actors of "Freaky Friday" also performed well. Mark Harmon organically blended with the image of the phlegmatic publisher Ryan, who was brought into business with Anna's mother and who becomes her fiancé. Remarkably played by a small Ryan Malgarini, who got the role of Tess's younger son, a hooligan and eternally provoking her older sister. Good and Stephen Tobolovsky, who excellently succeeded in the image of a nasty teacher trying to recoup on Anna for the fact that her courtship had long been neglected by her mother.
