Features of composition
In the composition of this anti-inflammatory agent , active ingredient is fifty milligrams of lysine salt of ketoprofen. The role of excipients is triethanolamine, ethanol, polyoxyethylene sorbitan monooleate, nerolene liquid, carboxypolymethylene, distilled water and methyl parahydroxybenzoate. Gel "Artrozilen" is produced in an aluminum tube with a volume of fifty grams.
Basic medical indications for prescribing
Use this non-steroid drug should be mainly during the treatment of diseases of the musculoskeletal system, which are degenerative and inflammatory. For example, this remedy is often prescribed for psoriatic and rheumatoid arthritis. With tendinitis, deforming osteoarthritis, bursitis, osteochondrosis with pronounced radicular syndrome, sciatica and lumbago, one should also use the anti-inflammatory drug "Artrozilen". The gel advises to apply the gel also for the treatment of joint syndrome with exacerbation of gout and rheumatism, ankylosing spondylitis (Bechterew's disease), radiculitis, shoulder-scapular periarthritis, myalgia and tenosynovitis. In addition, this remedy is often prescribed for injuries that are not associated with a violation of the integrity of soft tissues. For example, with bruises, dislocations, post-traumatic swelling, rupture or sprain of ligaments and muscles. For the relief of acute pain states of various genesis (including posttraumatic pain, postoperative pain, inflammatory pain syndrome), it is also shown to apply the gel "Artrozilen".
It is not recommended to use this medication during the period of breastfeeding, during the third trimester of pregnancy, and also in the case of the presence of an aspirin triad. Wet dermatoses and individual intolerance to ketoprofen, acetylsalicylic acid, or other components of the gel are also the reasons for the withdrawal of this non-steroid.
Possible side effects
Prolonged use of such a drug as the gel "Artrozilen", can cause skin exanthema and purpura. Photosensitivity can also develop due to the use of this drug.
