The station borrowed its name from the Chistyi Pond and the boulevard with the same name located near it. Surprisingly, in this pond used to drop waste slaughterhouses and butchers, and he wore the name "Pogany." After the pond was cleaned, a new name was added to it. The station "Clean Ponds" was first called "Kirovskaya", and the street was also named, which is known today as "Myasnitskaya".
