The drug is intended for in / m and / in the introduction. With infectious diseases of moderate severity, it is injected once every 24 hours, one to two grams. In diseases with a severe form of percolation, the dose increases to four grams per day.

In the treatment of gonorrhea, the drug is administered once a month in the amount of 250 mg.

As prevention of complications after surgery, for an hour and a half before the operation, 2 g of the medicine "Ceftriaxone" is administered.

The daily dose for newborns should not be more than 50 mg / kg of the child's weight . For children from two months to twelve years, the single dose per day is within 80 mg / kg. When prescribing the medicine "Ceftriaxone", it is necessary to remember about its peculiarities of interaction with other drugs. It significantly enhances the action of aminoglycosides. In combination with non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, as well as with other platelet aggregation inhibitors , increases the risk of bleeding. Care should be taken in the treatment of kidney diseases with the drug "Ceftriaxone". Side effects can be expressed in a nephrotoxic effect, especially when taken with "loop" diuretics.

Solutions of this drug are not allowed to mix or make simultaneous input together with any antimicrobial drugs or their solutions.
