Tea house by own hands - simple and beautiful

For many housewives, the kitchen serves not simply and not only a place where a lot of time is spent and food is cooked, but also all family members eat (unless, of course, there is a dining room or a bad habit to wander around with plates in the rooms), but also a corner for pleasant gatherings , Feasts and family conversations. It is for this reason that you want to decorate the kitchen, make it as comfortable, pleasant and special as possible. This feature can be, for example, a tea house, made by own hands.

I must say, the hostess can make a lot of different pleasant kitchen trifles herself. Of course, above all, these are different knitted and sewn things, colorful, beautiful, unique. This potholders, towels, curtains, cup holders and any hot, very different kitchen utensils. But, besides them, you can do very unusual things: a tea house with your own hands.

I must say that any kitchen trifles bring great pleasure to both owners and guests. Moral, aesthetic pleasure from admiring beautiful things. And it does not matter what it is - jewelry or a trifle for life. A small house, made by hand, is a small wooden or cardboard construction in which you can store tea bags. In form it can resemble a simple house, and intricate, complex buildings, whimsically decorated and trimmed. I must say that such houses are a very convenient thing, because more and more people prefer not to bother with tea leaves, but to buy ready-made sachets, which you just need to throw into a cup and pour boiling water. But they are not always sold in convenient packages, which quickly break and are not too aesthetic.

That's why it's better to make a tea house with your own hands. Materials can be cardboard or wood. So, first a wooden house. It will require small pieces of plywood (or any tree) with a thickness of about a centimeter, as well as sandpaper, brushes, paint, glue and a picture of the finished house (you can draw it yourself). And, of course, you will need a jig saw, a drill and clamps.

First you need to decide what size the future house will have. To do this, you need to measure the tea bag and add another five millimeters to the results - that's the inner size of the box. Now you need to make a markup, cut out all the details, including the windows for the house (you can make ordinary or interesting shapes, for example, in the form of a heart).

The next stage will be the joining of the details of the house with the help of spiked gluing. On the finished frame, already cut out patterns, drawings and decorative ornaments are attached using glue. An alternative can be painting on wood (before that the whole house is painted in some sort of a light background color). That's all, the tea house with their own hands is made, it remains only to wait until the glue dries, cover the product with a clear varnish and then put in a box of tea bags.

If you do not want to work on wood, you can make a cardboard house with your own hands, which is no less interesting, beautiful, but much easier. To do this, you can take, for example, a box of tea in the Greenfield bags or draw a blank on a sheet of cardboard, cut and glue. The workpiece is covered with soil (for canvas or acrylic), left to dry, and then sign. Instead of simple painting, you can make decoupage (seal with special colorful paper or a beautiful napkin). You can add decorative elements, sequins, ribbons. That's all, the house is made.
