Taimen is a fish from the Salmonidae family
Taimen is a fish (or, as it is also called, a shark), which belongs to the Salmonidae family. She has a narrow elongated trunk with a flattened head and a large mouth. Its head resembles a pike in structure.
Krasula lives only in flowing cold lakes or rivers. She never goes to the seas. Most often, it can be found in fast waters with cool and clear water. In our country, it occurs in the territory from the Urals to the Far East and Yakutia. Taimen is a predator fish. It feeds on perch, roach, minnow and other fish. Its fertility on average reaches 14 thousand eggs with a diameter of up to five and a half millimeters. The duration of the incubation period is up to one and a half months. The only passing species of this fish is its Sakhalin species - a sieve with a larger scale. It lives in the Sea of Japan. Taimen is a fish that usually keeps under sunken snags and trees, in pits on the bottom, from where it produces strange "snaring" sounds heard from a distance. In the morning and in the evening she goes to the surface in search of food, while in winter she keeps under the ice.
The most prolific fishing for taimen in Siberia and the Urals, where there are sometimes ten-kilogram individuals. It is usually caught on spinning with a strong fishing line, although some anglers have contrived to catch this fish from the boat. In winter, fishing from the ice to the javelins or the winter fishing rod is successful , and on the open water - to spinning. The nozzle, as a rule, is a "mouse" - a bait simulating a floating rodent. And in the daytime the taimen takes a light, and at night - a dark bait. This fish can be called a night, since the most successful time for fishing are the pre-dawn hours or twilight. During the daytime it goes to shady places, where it is defended until it becomes hungry. The zhor of the shroud falls on the period after spawning, beginning in September and until the freeze-up. She spoils in this period is very unpredictable: sometimes she hits the bait with her tail or, grabbing it sharply, drags him to the bottom. In all cases, in order not to miss the taimen, a very rapid cut is needed, after which he can make a dash and drag the line to tens of meters. This fish often breaks down because it does not swallow the bait. Sometimes it descends to the bottom, where, rested against the stones, cuts off the line. Therefore, experienced fishermen know that it needs to be brought very quickly to the shore and pulled out by the tail of the tail.
