Description

The "Coral" basin (Rostov-on-Don) was opened in 1976. Today it is one of the largest and most ancient water complexes in the city. Is the main base of SDYUSSHOR number 22.

In the three-story building there are two sports halls:

  • Large - its area is 288 square meters;
  • Small - an area of about 57 square meters.

In the big hall there is a swimming pool measuring 50 by 21 m with a cup of 3,600 cubic meters and a water mirror area of 1050 square meters. The depth difference is from 1.8 meters to 5.0 meters. The pool itself has 8 tracks of 50 meters in length, is made according to the Olympic standard, designed for the training of professional athletes, as well as for improving swimming on the 1st track.

The large swimming pool is equipped with:

  • 2 deep viewing windows;
  • 78 nozzles "mud";
  • 106 nozzles near the bottom;
  • 138 nozzles overflow;
  • Device for damping waves.

Small bowl has a water mirror area of almost 53 square meters. Designed for amateur swimming and aqua aerobics, here they teach children from 6 years of age to swim. A small bowl is also equipped with jets for water filtration.

In addition to mechanical water purification, ultrasound and ultraviolet rays are processed in both bowls, which significantly reduces the amount of chlorine. It is not only safe for health, but also more comfortable in terms of the absence of an unpleasant smell of chemistry.

Large and small pools are lined with ceramic tiles of the European company VitrA, which meets the requirements of the International Swimming Federation FINA. Therefore, the pool "Coral" (Rostov-on-Don) is suitable for conducting competitions. For spectators a tribune for 450 seats is organized.

The water temperature in the basins is 29-30 ° C, and the air temperature is 30-31 ° C at any time of the year.

The complex is open daily. A large bath is available in the summer from 7 am to 10 pm, in the winter - from 7 am to 9 pm. The small hall is always open from 8 am to 8 pm.

In the main time there are training sessions. In specially designated hours in the pool, additional paid services are provided for swimming lessons, aqua aerobics:

  • From Monday to Saturday - from 11 to 15 hours of the day and from 7 to 10 pm;
  • On Sunday from 7 am to 10 pm.

Cost of visiting the complex:

  • For children from 6 to 11 years 1 hour of swimming in a small pool will cost 140 rubles;
  • For children from 11 to 16 years a one-time ticket (for 1 hour) costs 150 rubles to a large pool, 180 rubles for adults;
  • Monthly subscription (includes 8 visits) is for children under 16 years old 1100 rubles, for adults - 1300 rubles.

For certain categories of citizens (pensioners, families with many children, labor veterans and others) discounts are provided.
