Tree beech - the guarantor of order, satiety and strength in its environment

The tree of the beech surpasses all other breeds in hardness, that is why in the ancient druids it is considered a symbol of inviolability and strength. According to the horoscope of this people, the beech tree controls the day of the winter solstice. It falls on December, approximately on the 21st or 22nd day, depending on the characteristics of the year. The mission of people born these days is to establish and maintain a clear order.

The tree of beech in the plant world is a relative of one more sturdy, with whom Russian folklore loves to compare strong and hardy people - oak. The opinion of the Czechs in this matter is slightly different. For them, the mighty and harmonious tree of beech is the standard of strength and beauty. And there is no arguing with this.

Let's pay attention to the height and width that the beech tree reaches. The photo attached to this article is a good demonstration of his greatness. Suffice it to say that in height it reaches forty meters, and expand for its long, continuing to four hundred years and older life, it can be up to two meters or more. The trunk of it thickens constantly regardless of age. At the same time, it grows upward to eighty years, and maturity begins at sixty, when fruiting begins. True, in those cases when the beech tree grows apart, the properties associated with the continuation of the genus begin to manifest earlier. Then his nuts can be seen in forty or even twenty years.

They ripen in prickly boxes. Seeds have a triangular shape. Their taste is very pleasant, like cedar nucleoli. Only forest dwellers know that there are beecooks with caution. Their seed is covered with a thin film containing poison, so they are collected in the forest and carried home, where after a simple heat treatment - roasting in a hot frying pan - weave for both cheeks, because this is a highly nutritious and healthy product. In addition, they are very tasty!

If we already talked about breeding, it is appropriate to add that the first flowers on the beech appear in late spring. First, the male inflorescence is blossoming. Feminine - about a week. Pollen in beech is sticky, so heavy. It is picked up by gusts of wind and transferred to pistils of female flowers. After pollination, the nuts develop slowly, until the fall. Then the tree carefully lands the earth with its foliage. And on this litter throws fruit. And from above covers them, like a blanket, with a new layer of fallen leaves. So nuts are saved from frosts and winter in comfortable conditions.

In the Middle Ages in Western Europe, there were often difficult and hungry times. Rescued people from death beech nuts. Therefore, the famous scientist of world renown Karl Linnaeus called this tree "Feeding" (Fagus) in his works. And it is right. After all, the beech nourishes almost all the inhabitants of the wild. Thanks to its nuts in winter and early spring, when it is difficult to save with fodder, not only all small rodents such as rabbits, squirrels and wild boars, but also roe deer, moose and bears, are saved from death.

The powerful crown of this tree forms a deciduous cover covering an area of one thousand square meters or more, which gives remarkable protection from dust and gas pollution, as well as abundant air humidification, providing a habitat for cleanliness and order.
