There is very little good in this disease. It should be noted immediately that he does not look like an ordinary senile memory loss. Multiple sclerosis is an autoimmune disease that, for the most part, affects young people.

Of course, it can completely destroy a person's life and even cause his death.

Symptoms of multiple sclerosis

Approximately in forty percent of all cases there are pains in the legs, which develop into serious disorders of the musculoskeletal system. Multiple sclerosis, the causes and symptoms of which are considered here, at the first stages of its development can be diagnosed by weakness in the muscles, poor coordination of movements. In twenty percent of all cases, vision deteriorates, urination becomes more difficult, sexual functions start to work worse. It is also worth noting that a man is too quickly tired, and over time his intellect is weakening, the ability to think logically disappears. A person forgets what happened to him some time ago, ceases to navigate in space, he suffers constant pain, convulsions. Often, patients with difficulty can only understand what is happening around them.

This disease is considered unpredictable. It can constantly progress or be benign, increase and decrease quite arbitrarily and unpredictably. This unpredictability does not hide in itself anything good, because it is the reason that it is very difficult to select a treatment.

As already mentioned above, most people suffer from multiple sclerosis. Age in this case does not play absolutely no role. Often it is possible to observe and multiple sclerosis in children.

Nerve fibers of the brain are very complicated. They consist of a variety of elements, including the outer myelin sheath. Sometimes its damage leads to the fact that the nervous tissue becomes vulnerable and even degenerates into a connective, losing its basic functions. Emerging foci of this phenomenon are called sclerotic plaques, and sclerosis is called this phenomenon itself.

As a rule, multiple sclerosis appears in the white matter of the spinal cord, as well as the brain. The word "absent-minded" is used in this case not by chance - sclerotic plaques are always randomly distributed, that is scattered. At times, these plaques can be joined into fairly large formations (up to several centimeters). It is common to separate chronic and active plaques. Plaques fade with time, however there is no guarantee that they will not revive again. It is not difficult to guess that the work of the nervous system with the appearance of their new ones and the revival of old units only worsens.

No one can be sure that he does not face multiple sclerosis. The reasons for its occurrence still cause a lot of controversy: some say that it is genetics, others say that the blame for everything is infection. There is no consensus yet.
