Strawberry jelly is a simple and easy dessert, which is prepared only from natural ingredients. As a rule, such a sweet fruit dish is very popular in the summer. After all, it is at this time that many people try to keep their slender forms, abandoning high-calorie cakes and pastries.
How to Make Strawberry Jelly in Your Home
Necessary ingredients:
- Fresh strawberries (you can take and frozen) - 300 grams;
- Sugar powder or granulated sugar - 100 grams;
- Gelatin - 2 large spoons or 2 sachets;
- Fresh mint leaves - 3-4 pieces;
- Vanillin - 1 sachet;
- Natural strawberry yogurt - 100 milliliters.
Features of preparation
Strawberry jelly is recommended to be done a few hours before it is fed to the table. After all, such a dessert should always stay in the refrigerator for four or five hours. During this time gelatin will solidify, and the dish will be completely suitable for further use.
Gelatin Dilution
Strawberry jelly, the recipe of which will be discussed below, can be done using pectin, agar-agar or gelatin. The latter option is suitable for our simple dessert most of all. After all, gelatin can be purchased in any supermarket at a very reasonable price.
The process of preparing the basis for dessert
Starting to make strawberry jelly should be with the processing of berries. To do this, a fresh or frozen product needs to be washed (thawed), peeled from the stems, and then put into a bowl of the blender and crushed to a mellow consistency. After that, you need to add sugar powder, fresh mint leaves, vanillin and natural yoghurt to the strawberry.
All of the above ingredients should be blended once more, and then taste, and if necessary, add powdered sugar or berries.
The final stage in the preparation
In the finished strawberry mass, you need to pour two cups of cooled liquid with gelatin and mix everything thoroughly. Next, the resulting mixture must be poured into molds, which are recommended to lubricate with butter. Also, strawberry jelly can be decorated with fresh bits of berries and mint leaves. After that, the filled molds should be carefully put in the refrigerator and held there for at least four hours.
Correct feed to the table
When the jelly from fresh strawberries completely solidifies, it needs to be taken out of the molds (by turning over) and placed on separate saucers. Next, dessert is recommended to decorate with berries, sweet syrup or ice cream, and then serve guests.
