Staples construction - universal assistants in the construction of wooden structures

In such an industry as construction at the moment, there are many different methods and options for attaching parts. The construction of any object, whether it is a residential building, office or shop, almost never does without the use of anchor, rigging and furniture fasteners. One of the main connecting devices in this list, along with bots and screws, are the construction brackets. What are they and what are they? The answers to these questions will be found in the course of this article.

Characteristic

Such a tool as a forged wrought iron was originally considered to be the most durable and effective tool for joining wooden beams and parts in chopped and paved houses, bathhouses and other buildings, the basis of construction of which is made of natural materials. As practice shows, these braces provide the most durable and reliable connection for the shortest possible time period. In this case, the installation process is provided with the help of a special device (almost like in the case of riveting machines) in just a few seconds. This device is called a stapler. And its speed of work can be compared to a pistol and even an automatic device - such a shot frequency does not have any similar device.

Material

As we have already understood, the staples are a method of universal fastening of wooden parts, which is used for the erection of structures or the assembly of furniture. Manufacture them from high-quality alloy steel, which, according to the production technology, goes through several stages of quenching. Due to this, these products are characterized by high strength, reliability and quality of the connections. Depending on the purpose of the staples are produced from wire of various diameters, from 6 to 14 mm.

Features of constructions

In themselves, the construction staples are U-shaped, while they are made of reinforcement or a rod of a smooth cross-section. The lateral parts of these elements ("legs") have a concave shape and are placed perpendicular to the base at an angle of 90 degrees. This construction has all the staples construction. The dimensions of these parts do not affect the production technology, and they all have a classic U-shape. In some cases, S-shaped (twisted) analogs are encountered, but the most effective in the quality of the joints are rotated staples, the "legs" of which are bent at an angle of 90 degrees.

Rules of use for installation

The main mistake of beginning builders when using similar elements in the farm is that they are driven into raw wood, which is absolutely unacceptable in the manufacture of these installation works. In this case, the bracket simply does not have the ability to tightly enter the material, and thus provides not the best connection. As a result, when the wood dries, cracks begin to form on its surface, and the connecting elements themselves will perform a practically decorative function.
