Initially, the stadium was named after the Lenin Komsomol. However, it was in 1992 that it was renamed the "Star". Until now, this name has been preserved. As a result, he received the second category, which made it possible to hold international matches in the arena.

Features of the stadium

First of all, it should be noted that this stadium is a home stadium for two Russian teams - Amkar FC and Zvezda-2005. The first club is for men, and the second is for women. As for the stadium itself, 17,000 seats are divided into four stands. All seats are made of high-quality plastic and have a high level of comfort.

On the West Stand is a press box, capable of seating up to forty people. The field has a new lawn, which meets all the requirements of UEFA. It is also equipped with heating and irrigation systems. The arena also has an electronic scoreboard measuring 20 by 8 meters and 142 lights that can illuminate the field in four different modes.

The Tribunes

As already mentioned, the stadium has four stands. They are named on the sides of the world - North, South, East and West. The latter is the largest in terms of capacity - the two sectors in it are reserved for VIP guests. Also there is a press box and a family sector where smoking and obscene language are prohibited. As for the South Stand, this is where the fan club organization sector is located. In addition, above it is an electronic scoreboard.

The Northern Stand has only five sectors, one of which is a guest. It is there that fans of teams who come to play Perm from other cities are located. And on the Eastern Stand, the 14th sector is noteworthy. It is called the Sector of Sirakov. So it was named in honor of the football player of "Amkar", who spent his entire career in the club and refused to leave even when he was invited to England.
