Soda water: description, method of preparation

Soda water is a type of soda, is prepared by adding carbon dioxide to simple water . It is introduced into bottles under pressure under certain conditions, which leads to a high content of gases in them, so if you shake the bottle before opening it, the water sprays everything around.

Gasification can be carried out in two ways:

In our time, its creation involves the use of various flavor additives and flavors. Such drinks are very popular, because they do not feel the taste of soda. And some of them contain sodium or preservatives.

Consider how to cook a soda at home:

First it is necessary to pour one pack of yeast into warm water and set aside for a while (until the bubbles begin to appear). Then one cup of sugar is dissolved in water, boiled and chilled to room temperature, after which yeast is added, poured into a bottle and clogged. Yeast, feeding on sugar, will produce carbon dioxide, the amount of which will grow until the formation of effervescent soda.

After a few days, it is necessary to open the bottle and release a portion of the air so that it does not explode under pressure. After three days, the soda water is ready for use.

Many use a special machine for its manufacture. In this case, first of all it is necessary to fill the bottle with water, add soda, then insert it into the machine and press it with the button several times to insert the carbonate into it.

From such water prepare various mixed alcoholic drinks, for example, whiskey or an adhesive tape with a soda, and also nonalcoholic which give vivacity and forces. Quite often, parents mix children with soda and soda (in equal proportions), a carbonated drink with a low content of sugar and calories is obtained.

The usual soda is slightly different from soda, although both drinks have good taste and are effervescent. The latter, in addition to carbon dioxide, contains other additives. Most often it adds baking soda and acid, which can harm human health, while carbonated water is simple water saturated with only one carbon dioxide.

Regularly using soda, you need to remember that it has no nutritional value, because it does not contain vitamins and nutrients that are necessary for the body. Included in its composition, acid and sodium bicarbonate contribute to the elution of calcium from the bones (deteriorating tooth enamel), and also harm the digestive tract. Also, soda water increases the risk of obesity, diabetes, contributes to the emergence and development of cellulite.

Thus, the potassium water, or soda, as a result of the technological process, does not bring any benefit to human health. In order to prepare it, you need to mix components such as water, salt, acid and baking soda in a special machine. But it should be remembered that regular consumption of it can lead to disruption of the endocrine system and gastrointestinal tract.
