Ski trail - a place for cyclists, roller skiers and skiers

Ski fans always enjoy the moment to get on the track and take a walk, but the year-round ski season can boast not all regions. What to do? Every year to suffer in the off-season in the snow? Inventive athletes found a way out. Skiing on wheels - roller skis - are becoming more popular.

What is a ski roller

Ski rollers, on the one hand, can be compared with skis: similar in shape, have a fastening for shoes. On the other hand, the board on wheels looks like a scooter. But with what you compare, and this sports equipment is enjoying increasing popularity, and for a long time already not only for fans of skiing.

Of course, roller skaters do not need to wait for winter and snow, which in many regions does not happen at all. We need smooth tracks with a hard surface, but it's already easier. By the way, designers have thought up to make for miracle skis inflatable wheels, they can ride even on dirt tracks and trails, without looking for a special skiing track. Skis on rubber inflatable wheels are more stable and are recommended especially for beginners. Athletes in training and competitions use roller skates on hard wheels.

Ski Track

What it is? What a ski track is, to imagine simply, knowing the features of the device rollers. This is an asphalted and, as a rule, a looped path with a perfectly flat surface. This coverage is necessary, because the wheels of the skis, when in contact with potholes and cracks on the asphalt, begin to vibrate very strongly, which leads to the inconvenience of the athlete and affects the service life of the equipment, unless you have a model with inflatable wheels.

These tracks are often meandering, moving from the mountain to the mountain. This makes it possible to increase the efficiency of the training process for athletes, and for fans of such a ski track will add diversity to the walk.

With the growing popularity of the skis, there was a need for specially equipped tracks. And every year they become more and more: it's dangerous to ride on roads, even on country roads, on pedestrian routes athletes impede free movement.

New skiing tracks appear in parks, recreation centers, with ski bases as training grounds in the snowless period. It is remarkable that they began to organize not only in large cities, but also in small provincial ones, which makes sport even more accessible.

Who skates

This question may seem inappropriate, but in fact it is relevant. The ski track is attractive not only for skiers. Here come to trainings and walks lovers of roller skates, cyclists, runners and just pedestrians. Here is the community here is going.

Strange for Russia in this there is nothing. They also gather on specialized bicycle paths and somehow divide the space. But in Germany, for example, skiing tracks are trying to protect from strangers.

Trails of Russia

In fact, specially equipped tracks are still few, most perform their functions in combination. It is possible to single out the Russian ski tracks with the most appropriate designation.

Let's get acquainted with the main.

The Saransk ski track was opened in 2012 on the Koumiss glade. The length of it is not large - only one and a half kilometer, but the terrain causes admiration in users. The difference in altitude is 30 meters, so there are enough descents and ascents. The width of the route is four meters. The length of the route increases due to additional loops up to four kilometers.

The ski track is six and a half kilometers long in the "Malinovka" - the center of skiing and skiing in the Arkhangelsk region. The difference in heights here is 54 meters, and the width is six meters.

In Pestovo Novgorod region, the length of 3 km 200 m. In Voronezh in the Khokhlomsky district three-kilometer route for beginners and more than five kilometers for experienced athletes.

One of the best routes in Russia is in the Pskov region near the city of Ostrov. There a big circle is 5 km.

Not far from Ryazan there is a ski track in the village of Varsky, in the Smolensk region in the village of Przhevalsky Demidov district in the biathlon complex, in Novomoskovsk, Tula region, Belgorod, Kostroma, Kaluga, Demino Yaroslavl region, in Toskovo, Leningrad region, in Karpovo, Vologda region . In the Tver region in Zapadnodvinsky district in Mukhino, in Toropets, in Likhoslavl, in Chupriyanovka of Kalininsky district.

Ski trails in the Moscow region

The ski trails in Moscow and the Moscow suburbs outnumber, perhaps, all the Russian ones. Only in Moscow there are more than a dozen such places. The most famous walking paths for roller skaters:

  • A 5.5-kilometer long bow;
  • Krylatskoe - about 4.5 km;
  • Park "Museon" - a path in 2 km;
  • "Sokolniki" - 8,5 km;
  • Two three kilometer tracks of Filevsky Park;
  • Elk Island - a path in 20 km;
  • In Kuzminsky park - more than 5 km;
  • On the embankment of Neskuchny Garden and Vorobyovy Gory - 14 km.

True, the aforementioned places are mostly unspecialized tracks, namely those that are most friendly. Here everyone skates: roller skaters, cyclists, lovers of scooters, skateboards.

In outskirts of Moscow

65 km from the Moscow Ring Road along the Novorizhskoye or Volokolamskoe Highway beyond the village of Rumyantsevo is the Golovino complex with a five-kilometer highway. The route consists of three asphalt loops - two 2 km each and one 1 km. It looks nice this place - the ski track. Photos there you can make chic, and even the nature is wonderful.

In Dmitrov equipped illuminated route for beginners 2 km long 300 m.

Recently launched the track on Planernaya for a long time was in the ideas, ideas. Many believed that it would remain only in the plans. But it is completed and opened at the biathlon club.

Odintsovo route

The most popular is the ski track located in the Podushkinsky forest park Lazutinskaya (Lazutinka). Odintsovo is a city where they remember that the initiator of its construction was the famous skier Larisa Lazutina. That's the name of the road. And officially it is a route named after Larisa Lazutina, located in the Sport Park with the same name. Opened the track in 2002, it immediately attracted everyone's attention.

Here used to be an ordinary ski track, which turned into an asphalt track and could now be used in summer for training on skiing rollers. The length of the route is about six kilometers. There are many ascents and descents of varying complexity. In general, the place is ideal. There was not enough good lighting, which was also promised to be restored. Then the route was decided to improve, reconstructed, turned into a ski center of the European format. There were built cafes, locker rooms for athletes, toilets, a recreation area. They expanded the parking lot, repaired the access roads.

Lazoutinka regularly hosts competitions for skiers in winter and skiers in summer, many of them are traditional.

True, now there is another problem for athletes. The route turned into a mass place of walks of local residents with children, carriages, dogs. Unfortunately, most of them do not understand that during the training the skiers develop a speed of up to 50 km / h, and walking here is not at all safe. As a result, training can not be carried out at the proper level, because athletes are always forced to avoid clashes with people walking.

That's how the population currently exists, with the hope that they have a great place to go for walks, and athletes with the hope that somehow the issue with full-fledged training without interference will be solved.
