In 2004-2005, at the world junior championships, the guy became a four-time winner. He won gold in the pursuit race in the French Haute Marienne. Also in his piggy bank appeared a bronze medal for participating in ski races in Finnish Rovaniemi. In the team event he received gold in the relay race. Emile's debut in the European Cup took place only in 2005. Then, in the first 10 km race in free style, he took the prize-winning 3 place. Due to this, the athlete was in the main part of the Norwegian team, with which he won silver in the relay race. Hegle Svendsen became the world champion in the sprint and in the individual competition in the competitions held in Kontiolahti (Finland). At the same competitions, he received a silver award in pursuit.

In this competition, he took 6th place, losing to the championship of more experienced athletes. Emil Hegle Svendsen (biathlon) took the 17th place in the overall standings of the 2006-2007 World Cups, which for his young age was a very good indicator. In the biathlon championship in the Italian town of Antholz in 2007, he was 5 in pursuit, and 7 in the sprint. As part of the national team for the mixed relay, Emil won a bronze medal. In the season of 2010-2011 he managed to win 2 more gold medals and 1 silver medal. The season 2011-2012 brought the Norwegian athlete 4 first, 4 second and 4 third places. In 2012-2013, Emil all expected victory in the fight for the World Cup, but he preferred participation in the World Cup. There he won gold in the first relay race. Written warnings were sent to them and a fine of 100 thousand kroons was withheld.

To date, the heart of a handsome biathlete is not employed. He spends all his free time on entertainment and hobbies (cycling, rest in the circle of friends).
