He keeps a lot of secrets, which he does not try to reveal to all tourists who visit him.

The symbol of the city is the Tower of the Mole Antonelliana, built in the nineteenth century. This is a grandiose structure, reaching a height of sixty meters. In a matter of seconds on a high-speed elevator you can climb to the highest point of the tower and from a bird's eye view enjoy the beauty of the surroundings of Turin. Today, here is the Museum of Cinematography, which has no analogues in the world.

A magnificent building of the thirteenth century Palazzo Madama is a monument to which all of Italy is proud. Turin stores this inimitable palace of Queen Maria-Christiana of France, as the embodiment of a true Baroque style, combined with some elements of medieval architecture.

The majestic Cathedral of John the Baptist was built in 1491-1498 by order of Cardinal Rovere in honor of the patron of Turin. Later, in the seventeenth century, on the territory of the cathedral was built the chapel of the Holy Shroud, which is the brainchild of the famous architect Guarini. This cathedral is one of the main attractions that Italy is proud of.

Turin keeps here the greatest relic of all Christians - the shroud, in which the body of Jesus Christ was wrapped. It can be considered a miracle that during the fierce fire that occurred in the chapel in April 1997 and badly damaged it, the shroud was saved and practically not affected. Restoration works are now continuing in the chapel , and the sacred cloth is kept in a special container with the optimal microclimate for it.

Despite Italy's economic crisis, Turin continues to take the lead in the political and economic life of the country. It is a large and modern center of the automobile industry. Many enterprises of the chemical and steel industry are concentrated here. It is a city of designers and fashion designers. It regularly hosts world-famous cultural events - the International Book Salon or the Salon of Taste.
