However, unlike the fate of many religious buildings of that time, the Trinity-Sergius Lavra waited for a more successful period - it continued to function, but was called the Zagorsk Monastery. According to some sources, during the Soviet era the laurel was abolished.

Attention to the spiritual relic of the Russian people returned after the Great Patriotic War. For a long time, restoration work was carried out on its territory.
