Rashid Nurgaliev was born on October 8, 1956 in the city of Zhetygara of the Kazakh SSR. By nationality - a Tatar. His mother and father worked in the police. Education

Career

In 1981, Rashid Nurgaliev became a Chekist. He began his military career with the city of Kostomuksha, which is located on the border with Finland. Then he went up the career ladder to the officer in charge.

Personal life
