Prostate massage

Chronic inflammation of the prostate is due, first of all, to the development of various diseases of infectious etiology. However, the ailment can arise against the background of sexual excesses, or, on the contrary, abstinence.

Massage of the prostate is necessary in order to improve blood circulation and remove the delayed and decomposed pathological secretion from the affected lobules of the gland. The procedure should be started after relief of acute symptoms of the disease, normalization of temperature and the acquisition of transparency of the second portion of urine. Prostate massage, started early and vigorously, can provoke an exacerbation of the disease and the development of epididymitis.

For the procedure, the patient should take a horizontal position. It is recommended to lay it on the right side with the knees bent and pressed to the trunk. Knee-elbow position is allowed. In this position, the musculature surrounding the gland is relaxed as much as possible, and the abdominal organs are pushed upward.

Prostate massage. Equipment

The procedure is performed with the full state of the bladder. Thus, it is easier to approximate the gland, in addition, with the strong urine flow leaving it, the extracted abnormal secretion is removed.

On the right hand put on a rubber glove. The index finger, lubricated with petroleum jelly, is slowly introduced into the rectum. Massage of the prostate (lobules of the gland) in the first two procedures is performed only by a planar surface, sliding motion. Rough exposure can provoke a patient's discomfort in the form of tingling, tenderness in the area of the urethra and anus, loosening, sudden and sudden urge to urinate. Massage of the prostate is carried out by movements directed to the excretory ducts of the gland.

In the following procedures, slight pressure is allowed with gradual strengthening of the effect.

How to massage the prostate

The dosage of movements is selected, first of all, taking into account the patient's sensations. As a rule, the procedure does not cause pain. The force of pressure is determined by the consistency of the prostate. For the soft gland, the pressure should be negligible. If the consistency is dense, more vigorous movements are allowed. In the case of alternation of sites, the pressure corresponds to each of them.

Inflammatory process is most often localized on the outer edges of the prostate gland. It is necessary to pay special attention to these areas. Massage is done every other day. The duration of the procedure is not more than thirty to sixty seconds.

After the massage, the patient should urinate. Then the patient is washed with a bladder and a canal using a solution of potassium permanganate of a weak consistency. This is necessary in order to prevent their infection with a prominent pathological secret.

In the course of therapy, a periodic examination of the secretions of the prostate should be performed. In the absence of bacteria, the presence of a small amount of leukocytes and the increase in lecithin bodies, the procedures are suspended at first for three and then for ten days. At the end of each break, a secretion study is performed. In case of a favorable result of the analysis, massage is stopped.

As practice shows, the best results are noted in the procedures for catarrhal prostatitis. Slower massage gives an interstitial form of the disease in the presence of significant pathological changes. It is very problematic to achieve favorable results with indurative prostatitis, accompanied by persistent organic disorders. Temporary improvement from the massage occurs when exposed to flabby atonic iron with cavities, of which secretion outflow is difficult.
