Potatoes, stewed with pork

Pork meat is loved by both adults and children. Today I would like to consider two recipes for preparing second courses from this meat. First we will talk about pork with potatoes, and the second recipe will be stewed cabbage with pork.

Fatty, fried dishes, as you know, are not very healthy, but sometimes you want meat. What to do if the doctors strictly forbid fried? There is a way out, and it's quite simple - meat stew with vegetables. In this recipe, there is everything that the meat-eaters love so much, but such food will not hurt the stomach of those who have digestive problems.

Potato, stewed with pork - it's like beer with nuts, one perfectly complements the other. In addition, choosing pork with a small amount of fat and stewing it with potatoes, you will get a very appetizing, almost dietary and very fast in cooking dish.

Potatoes stewed with pork are prepared as follows. Take the pork and, after clearing the films of meat, carefully wash it. Then, cut into medium sized pieces (about 3 cm side), put them in a cauldron and fill it with water. In half an hour you can drain the water.

Take the cauldron and put it on the bottom cut into pieces of lard, we wait until it spreads along the bottom of the kazan and put meat there. After a few minutes, when the meat is fried, put the gas under the dishes at the minimum and cover, but not very tightly, with a lid. Meat will let the juice out and will stew.

Now you can do potatoes. Wash, clean and cut the potatoes thin (not more than half a centimeter) strips. As soon as the meat in the Kazanka softens, we put potatoes on top, mix the contents and cover with a lid.

Garlic peeled off the husks, cut into large pieces and added to meat and potatoes. It's time to add spices, salt, pepper, mix again, and do not forget about the lid, be sure to cover the kazanok.

At this stage, your apartment should already have smells, and most likely even the neighbors know from the top that you will have potatoes, stewed with pork for dinner.

And we continue to cook. Carrots and bulbs are peeled, cut into strips and put into a frying pan for a while to hang out with butter. When the vegetables become soft, we put them in the cauldron with the main dish.

Now strengthen the fire, bring the dish to a boil and so put it out until it is ready. Served to the table potatoes, stewed with pork, as a second course, if you cooked for dinner, or as a main dish, if it comes to dinner.

Ingredients for pork with potatoes: pork - a pound, potatoes - a pound, carrots, a bulb, half a head of garlic, 50-60 grams of butter, salt and other condiments.

Now go to the second recipe.

Cabbage, stewed with pork, is considered a simple recipe, "for lazy", for the simple reason that it is not necessary to stay in the kitchen constantly during cooking. In addition, there is no need for spices, the dish and without them it turns out very tasty and appetizing.

You will need to prepare 700-800 grams of pork, a half a kilo of cabbage and vegetable oil. The sequence of actions is as follows. We cut the meat into large cubes and throw it into the boiling oil of cauldron. While meat is fried, we cut cabbage not too finely. When it's about 15 minutes, you can add cabbage to the meat. Then carefully mix all the ingredients, add a little water and cover with a lid.

From time to time, you should look under the lid and mix the contents of the cauliflower. If it starts to burn, then you need to add some water. When the meat has almost reached the ready, stop pouring liquid, remove the lid and let the steam come out, bring the cabbage to brown. Meat should become very tender, and cabbage - sour and soft.
