Pavel Lyubimtsev (Lieberman): biography and creativity

The name of Pavel Lyubimtsev is associated with an entire era of domestic television. He is a talented actor and TV presenter, teacher and writer. He raised the genre of television entertainment-cognitive programs to a new level, bringing in them a special highlight of light irony and intellectual fullness. At the same time, all the currently implemented television programs of Pavel Lyubimtsev are surprisingly easily perceived by a wide audience and drag even people far removed from their travels, culture, history and nature of the world around them.

Childhood and youth

Pavel Lyubimtsev is a native Muscovite. In the next year, one of the most charismatic intellectuals of modern television will turn 59 years old. His childhood passed on the Arbat. He was born in the family of music teachers, teachers of "Gnesinka".

The first nine years of life of the future actor, writer and TV presenter were held on the Arbat. And now Pavel Lyubimtsev rarely favors the Arbat with his walks, referring to his present appearance with a fair amount of skepticism.

When the boy was nine years old, the family moved to an apartment on Mira Avenue. After graduating from one of the Moscow schools, Pavel Lieberman, this is the real name of the presenter, he entered the Shchukinsky Theater School. After his graduation, he was invited to the St. Petersburg Academic Comedy Theater. NP Akimov, then still Leningrad. The next three years of his life were closely connected with the city on the Neva.

Pavel Lyubimtsev himself remembers his admission to Shchukinsky as the greatest success in his life, saying that he owes this joyful event to his mother. It was thanks to her efforts that an interest in the theater arose, later developed into a vital vocation.

How did Lieberman become Lyubimtsev

Appearance of his pseudonym author of "Journeys of a naturalist" is obliged to the director of the Leningrad Comedy Theater Petru Fomenko. The times were such that in the theater, and not only in this, Jewish names did not evoke delights, and the pseudonym was a creative necessity. As Pavel Evgenievich later told about this himself, initially he wanted to become Lyubimov, having translated his name from German - "Mine Liber." However, Fomenko proposed his own version, explaining that there are a lot of Lyubimovs, while Lyubimtsev has not yet. Especially for the comic actor, the surname suited as well as possible.

The Way on TV

The story of Lyubimtsev-TV presenter and traveler begins in 1996. Shchukin schoolmaster Mikhail Shirvindt called him as the author of the texts in his program "Live News". Soon, under his guidance, there was a short section "And you know what ...".

His talent as a narrator or reader, Pavel Lyubimtsev prefers to call himself, quickly gained popularity and resulted in the idea of creating an author's project.

"Travels of the naturalist"

The first issue of the transfer of Pavel Lyubimtsev was released on September 12, 1999. As the author and the presenter later admitted, when preparing the issues, he was tormented for a long time with a sense of guilt. Having the opportunity to travel around the world, he would rather prefer his sofa, and in fact for many people this is a pipe dream. Feeling that he occupied in this someone else's place, he tried to compensate, laying out in colorful stories, not sparing his skill actor, erudition, knowledge.

"Travels of the naturalist" were aired on different TV channels for ten years. Pavel Lyubimtsev was twice awarded the prestigious TEFI award for them. Nevertheless, he with skepticism and hostility applies to both the reward and his popularity, considering for himself television is just an interesting hobby.

Stubborn Paganel

At first glance, the creator of "Travels naturalist" really reminds the eccentric scientist Paganel, at times as if descended from the pages of the novel by Jules Verne. On the screen a good-natured fat man in funny glasses and a recognizable hat. A bit scattered, a bit of a brush, always in white. In life, an open, straightforward, harsh man in his utterance.

The desire for fame is not about him. Perfectionist Pavel Lyubimtsev believes that the main thing is to do his job well. Ambitiousness is to make it better than everyone else. Dreams of becoming a star are the lot of idiots, as Pavel Lyubimtsev once said in an interview.

"City Travel"

Following the "Travels of the Naturalist" appeared other projects. In 2005, a short eight-week author's project "The Old Poster" was published, dedicated to the activities of outstanding personalities of culture and the arts of the past. Theater, cinematography, variety art, artistic life appear through the prism of biographies and works of famous artists, actors, musicians, singers.

"City Travel" - the last large-scale television project of Pavel Lyubimtsev. If "Travels of a naturalist" were devoted to living nature, then in this cycle of programs the emphasis was placed on traditions, culture, way of life and everyday specifics of different states. Under the watchful eyes of the indefatigable traveler came the architecture of the world capitals, as well as the national cuisine, the peculiarities of local communication, everyday life and holidays, fashion, music, entertainment and many other things that make up the life of the capital city.

The project on the duration of its ethereal life could not surpass the "Naturalist", even compare with it in this. Nevertheless, the transfers from this cycle were issued regularly for five years, until 2011.

In recent years, Pavel Lyubimtsev has participated as a presenter in various programs. He also actively engaged in literary and pedagogical activities.

On the screen and on stage

Total love and fame for Pavel Lyubimtsev was brought by television programs. However, in the theater and in the cinema he remains no less in demand. Perhaps, before him, no Russian actor could not boast of the same successes. And in all areas of its activities. He does not boast of them, although he could have done quite well, and Pavel Lyubimtsev. Films with his participation go out with an enviable regularity. The first role of the young Lyubimtsev played in the distant 1979 in the film "Ferenc Liszt". The last film with his participation was released in 2015.

He acted as an actor and as a theater director. In particular, in the educational theater of the Theater Institute. Boris Shchukin, he staged nine performances, collaborated with the Taganka Theater and the Moscow Academic Satire Theater. After almost a twenty-five-year break, Pavel Lyubimtsev returned to the theater as an actor. He played at the State Academic Theater. Vakhtangov, in the play "Mademoiselle Nitouche." He does not refuse from experiments, which is proved by his cooperation with the new theater "LA'Teatr".

Despite the serious health problems that have haunted him in recent years, Pavel Lyubimtsev continues to work actively on television, collaborate with theaters and engage in literary activities.
