Otrywedni lichen - clinic and treatment

Many people suffer from skin problems. Peregrine lichen is a disease of the epidermis, which is caused by the fungus Malassezia and manifests itself in the form of spots with exfoliating skin. The color of the spots is brown, yellowish, whitish.
The disease itself is an infectious pathology and is mainly inherited. In most cases it occurs in countries with a hot climate. This disease affects only boys, and it is less common in children and the elderly. Predisposing factors to the appearance of color deprivation are increased sweating and wearing of strangers.
The causative agent of the disease is the fungus Malassezia furfur and the disease can be infected with close contact with the patient, the joint use of hygiene items. There is an opinion that pityriasis is not contagious, but scientists have the following opinion on this matter: the disease can be transmitted with a certain structure, and most often observed in families where members of the family have the same skin type.
Pregnancy, Cushing's syndrome, diabetes mellitus and somatic diseases contribute to color deprivation : tuberculosis and oncological lesions.

Description of color deprivation
Appear on the skin spots of different sizes, which have a light brown and yellow-ocher color. Their outlines are rounded, oval, cylindrical, they for a short period of time merge into large foci of infection and resemble a geographical map. Pityriasis mostly appears on the upper part of the trunk, the portion of the head, the neck. The spots change their color over time, and achromia is formed.
Pityriasis is divided into these types:
- yellow;
- the black;
- achromic.
Diagnose the disease with a Voodoo lamp, in which the rashes appear translucent greenish-golden or pink. If a solution of iodine is applied to the infection site, then latent spots will appear, which become more pronounced. Rashes on the skin are recorded in countries with a hot climate. If the stains of lichen are poorly expressed on the skin, then they need to be treated with a solution of iodine, while they should appear stronger and acquire a brown color. Pityriasis and pink lichen are subjected to differential diagnosis.

How to treat pityriasis?
Treatment of the disease consists in the daily application of antifungal drugs to the affected areas of the skin. In addition, antimycotic ointments and solutions are used to completely eliminate the disease. If the form is widespread, then apply antimycotics (itraconazole, ketoconazole).
In severe cases, they can be used inside, such therapy significantly affects the effectiveness of treatment and prevents relapse of the disease.
Antimycotics are medicines of the thiazole series, which contain selenium sulphide. Today, the treatment of the disease is actively using "Sertaconazole" - a drug that inhibits the growth of fungi.

Abnormal lichen - treatment with folk remedies
To treat varicolored foliage, you can use traditional medicine. The most effective means is apple cider vinegar, which needs to lubricate 6-7 times a day foci of infection on the skin. Also a very good tool is a decoction of the seeds of sorrel (any) and the decoction of its roots. To prepare the product it is necessary to mix roots and seeds in equal proportions, pour a glass of boiling water and simmer on low heat for 5 minutes, 1 hour to insist, strain and wipe the stains.
Another tool can be prepared from sorrel: chop the leaves of the plant and add the cream with sour cream. This means you need to lubricate the affected areas. It will be good to prepare a medicine from rue fragrant, which is ground into powder, mixed with butter in a ratio of 1: 5 and smeared pockets 2 times a day.
