Career

In the same year he was accused of murdering a jeweler, but Odilo managed to escape to Germany. Until 1934, he was often arrested and imprisoned, but already for political activity.

In 1936, in Austria Globocnik became a member of the top leadership of the NSDAP. He dealt with the connection between the Main Office in Munich and the Austrian Nazis. Since the spring of the thirty-eighth year Globocnik was the organizer of the slasher. Then - Chief of Staff Clausen. At about the same time he was appointed to the government of Seyss-Inquart as State Secretary. Then Gauleiter of Vienna. In a short time he became a deputy of the Reichstag.

Activities Odilo Globocnik

Globocnik's activities aroused great indignation among the opposition. In 1939 Globocnik was accused of currency fraud. Was removed from the position of Gauleiter and sent to the SS troops.

In November 1993 he became the head of the SS and police of Lublin. At the same time, from 1941 to 1942, he was the "right arm" of the SS Reichfuehrer for the creation of concentration camps and their management in Poland. As you know, at that time this country was occupied by German troops. Who is Odilo Globocnik? It is the creator of the death camps in the vicinity of Lublin and Treblinka (Poland).

In 1943, he took part in the destruction of the Bialystok and Warsaw ghettos. He received a promotion from the Reichsfuehrer and was elevated to the status of State Secretary. Then Globocnik left work in Lublin. Odilo was appointed to the senior leadership of the SS and the police of the Adriatic coast. Globocnik's main task was to fight the partisans.

At the very end of the war, as soon as the allied forces approached, Odilo fled to Austria, to Carinthia. Together with the surprised colleagues I went up to the mountains and tried to stay there. For some time Globocnik sheltered in an alpine house, but for a long time it was impossible to hide. In 1945, together with Ernst Lerch, his adjutant, Odilo was arrested by the British.

Globocnik's fate and history, as Henry Muller pursued, historians know little. But even the few details that are collected about Odilo, speak of many true events at that time.
