"NOVIVAK" DHPPI is a modern vaccine for dogs

Vaccine "Novivac" DHPPi is a live dry preparation, produced together with a special solvent, capable of preventing various infectious diseases in dogs. It is produced and shipped to Russia by the Netherlands company Intervent International in glass bottles in the volume of one vaccine dose (0.5 cm³), packed in boxes of ten or fifty glass vessels.

Description

Shelf life in dry, hermetically sealed vaccine is 24 months, and for the solvent, separately - 60 months. After this period of time, the use of the drug is unacceptable. According to the rules, the drug must be stored in a shaded place with low humidity, at a temperature of 2 ° C to 8 ° C.

It is necessary to use the ready-made solution within thirty minutes after preparation, with the urgent introduction of the drug "Nivivac". DHPPi vaccination (encoding denotes a list of diseases from which the drug is protected) is mandatory. However, for such purposes any such remedy permitted to use by the Russian sanitary service may be used.

It should be remembered that the drug "NOBIVAK" DHPPi is not a medicine, and its use in the zone of outbreaks is not possible. Sick individuals must be destroyed, as all these diseases are not curable. Composition

The described preparation is made from a cultivation liquid for various strains of microorganisms:

• Antiplague serum - strain Onderstepoort (plague carnivorous);
• Serum of infectious hepatitis - Manhattan LPV3;
• From parainfluenza - Cornell;
• From hemorrhagic enteritis - С154.

This means that with the appearance of another strain of disease, animals may not be ready for an outbreak of infection. However, such changes are extremely rare and are not considered by the sanitary services in admission to the implementation of the vaccine "Nobivac" DHPPi. Instruction to the drug should be carefully studied to determine the dosage and the cyclic use of the drug.

As auxiliary components hydrolysates of casein and gelatin are used in a small amount, however, in animals there may be a manifestation of intolerance to them, which is manifested, including, in allergic reactions.

Indications for use

"NOBIVAK" DHPPi is used to prevent and eliminate the possibility of switching to the mass form of a number of diseases in dogs:

• plague;
• Infectious hepatitis;
• Paraviral enteritis;
• Parainfluenza.

The immune response manifests itself at most a week and a half after repeated administration and persists for a period of up to a year, gradually weakening in recent months.

The procedure for vaccination with the drug "NOVIVAK" DHPPi should be healthy, not infected with helminths (worms) dogs older than eight weeks with repeated inoculation after ten days. Animals older than three months are vaccinated once.

How to apply

The use of the drug requires certain rules:

• Puppies for up to a month are not subject to vaccination at all.
• Individuals under eight months are prescribed the vaccine "Nobivac" Puppy DP.
• Dogs older than three years are given one injection every year, and if necessary two injections with an interval of ten days.

Contraindications and precautions

The drug is contraindicated:

• If the age of the dog is up to four weeks (up to eight other types of vaccine are used - Puppy DP).
• When vaccinated weakened and / or sick individual.
• When there are symptoms of an allergic reaction (edema, fever and other symptoms). The introduction of the drug to the animal is strictly forbidden, you should contact the veterinarian, as it is necessary to seek replacement of the medication.
• When pregnant and feeding puppies in females. This drug negatively affects the health of puppies and causes deviations in development, it is possible and death of some individuals.
• Immediately after the complex treatment for helminths. After that, it must take at least seven days. A dog suffering from helminthiasis can not be vaccinated - its body is seriously weakened.

Medical personnel when working with DHBPi "NOBIVAK" must strictly observe the principles of hygienic safety of a person and premises, as well as sanitary norms when working with medicines based on sera of especially dangerous infections.
