The thing is that they are in the northern part of the Ural Mountains, with their eastern part settling in the mountains, and the western part in the foothills. A diverse flora and fauna is an exceptional find and a valuable gift for both professionals and amateurs of outdoor activities.

Despite the fact that the virgin forests of Komi are the most unique of its kind, they are still in danger. On the territory of the reserve "Yugyd va", which owns the area, active industrial gold mining is carried out.

Unfortunately, the development continues, despite the decision of the special authorized Environmental Protection Committee. In accordance with this document all geological exploration operations should be immediately curtailed.
