The Moscow Regional Puppet Theater exists since 1933. Its creator is Victor Schwemberger - a great actor, playwright, director and a great enthusiast. The first performance of the troupe was the "Inspector General" for N.V. Gogol. The dolls who took part in this production are now kept in the museum at the Sergei Obraztsov Theater.
In 1941-1945, the actors played in front of the defenders of the Motherland. The Moscow Regional Puppet Theater played 275 performances on the front line. With the troupe, wonderful directors collaborated.
Pieces for the theater were written by such wonderful playwrights: G. Oster, P.Kataev, E.Uspensky, T.Tolstaya, Yu.Koval and others. Music for performances is composed by composers: G. Gladkov, L. Kazakova, V. Makhlyankin and others.
All his life the Moscow children's regional puppet theater spends on wheels. The troupe has already traveled almost all of Russia and very often it happens abroad. Performances of the theater have great success with the audience, they constantly win in festivals and competitions.
More than thirty years, the director and art director was Leonid Maksimovich Migachev. He is a creative and enterprising person. Many theatrical projects, which are called to support culture in cities and villages, was created thanks to him. Leonid Maskimovich held the post of leader until his death. Reviews

Those viewers who have already visited the Moscow regional puppet theater, reviews about it leave only positive. The building is small, the children here are very cozy and interesting. There is only one drawback - it is very difficult to find a theater, if you have never been there. It is convenient that children in the hall are put in the front rows, and parents separately - on the last, so that adults do not block the children from the stage. All the performances, even those that are part of the classical repertoire of any puppet theater, are set absolutely in their own way. Presentations are not long, children do not even get tired of watching them. Quite acceptable prices for tickets. The Moscow Regional Puppet Theater is best suited for bringing children to art. The performances are so interesting that it's not boring even to look at them. The hall is small, so viewers are very close to the artists, which creates a sense of involvement in action. Children are delighted with the performances of this theater. All the productions with humor. Here the authors of books for children sell their works and with pleasure leave autographs. Actors play a role, putting their whole soul into them. Very friendly staff seated the audience in places. In the courtyard of the theater there is now a very convenient playground where you can play. In the theater are very beautiful dolls with expressive faces. During the holidays artists show several performances a day. It is good that now the performances are not only on weekends, as before, but also on weekdays, which allows you to visit the theater on any convenient day of the week.
