Childhood and youth

When was Sergei Minaev born? The writer was born in 1975 in Moscow. On the maternal line, the publicist has Jewish roots. After graduation, I entered the Humanities University to study as a historian. In 1998, he successfully graduated.

This prompted the writer to the idea of creating a television channel Kontr TV, which Sergei launched, together with Artak Gasparyan and Anton Krasovsky. The Internet channel broadcast several hours a day in the evening. The budget of the channel was equal to several million dollars.

Kontr TV broadcasted on-line comments, IP telephony and such an outrageous reception, like profanity. One of the main topics for discussion is politics. On the channel there were such programs as "Rabies Mashki", "Sofa" and "Minaev Life". In various interviews, the founders of the Internet channel opposed themselves to the television channel "Rain".

On December 11, 2012, the newspaper Kommersant published an article stating that, according to tax authorities, a 100% founder of Kontr TV was the pro-Kremlin fund ISEPI. This organization was formed on the initiative of the presidential administration.

After that, Sergei Minaev made a statement that he applied to the fund on his own initiative because of a lack of financial resources. Negotiations were conducted not one month, and in the concluded contract there is a clause about non-intervention of fund in editorial policy of the channel. Later, Anton Krasovsky gave an interview to the Snob project, in which he noted that Kontr TV is a project of the Kremlin, whose main goal is propaganda. In January 2013, Anton was dismissed. There are rumors that this decision was taken by Minaev. Two months later the writer himself left the canal. The reason for this was the reform of Kontr TV. The ISESP decided that they would use the Internet site to attract talented young journalists and politicians. Their recruitment will be carried out by holding competitions in leading institutes of the country.

Personal life

Few know how many times in marriage was Sergei Minaev. The writer, whose wife recently gave him a son, was married twice. With his first wife he divorced in 2006. Sergei's daughter stayed with her mother. The second wife of the writer is the editor of the project "Minaev Life" Elizaveta Menshchikova, who became famous in 2010 by filming in an alternative calendar for Vladimir Putin. At the end of 2012, she gave birth to Minaev's son. The boy was named after his father.
