Litical mixtures - emergency help at temperature

Among all the drugs available today, not the last place is occupied by lytic mixtures. They are used as an antipyretic, but only in emergency cases, when it is necessary to quickly knock down the heat.

The composition of the lytic mixture from the temperature for children

Many parents do not always know what kind of drug it is. Let's try to lift the veil of secrecy.

Litical mixtures include three components.

  1. Analgin. Its quantity is 50%. Antipyretic properties of this substance have long been known. In this composition, he plays his usual role. Namely: it struggles with temperature.
  2. Dimedrol (1% in the mixture). This drug enhances the action of analgin. In addition, it acts as an antiallergic agent. Sometimes dimedrol is replaced with suprastin or Tavegil.
  3. Papaverine (0.1% in the composition of the mixture). This is an antispasmodic drug. Its tasks include vasodilation and increased heat transfer. Thus, the action of the main component (analgin) is enhanced.

Sometimes a lytic mixture is used in tablets. All these preparations are ground into powder and taken orally. However, it should be noted that the effectiveness of the mixture in tablets is much lower. That is, there will certainly be an improvement, but it will not happen immediately.

Litical mixtures for adults

Along with children, this tool is sometimes used by adults.
In this case, the lytic mixtures in tablets for the older generation have a completely different composition:

  • Baralgin.
  • But-spawn or papaverine.
  • Diazolin or suprastin.

All drugs are used in equal quantities - one tablet.

How to apply this tool

Dosage for children depends on age. Add 0.1 ml of solution for each year of life of the baby. So, for the one-year-old child, the following composition will be optimal: 0.1 ml of all constituent components. For a child aged 2 years, the dose will increase and amount to 0.2 ml.

For adults, there are a few other requirements. Here the dosage depends on the weight. If your weight is 60 kg, then the following proportions will be ideal: 2 ml of analgin and papaverine and 1 ml of diphenhydramine. For every 10 kg of weight, 0.1 ml of the solution is added.

Entering the lytic mixture is required in one syringe by intramuscular injection. As a rule, the effect is achieved within 15 minutes.

Contraindications to the use of the product

Despite all its magical properties, sometimes lytic mixtures are not recommended. Let's consider the main points.

  • Do not use this compound at a low temperature - 37.5 or 38 degrees. The fact is that the occurrence of heat is an indicator that the body is struggling with temperature. Applying the lytic mixture constantly, you can disrupt immunity and provoke catarrhal diseases. This tool is used only in emergency cases.
  • It is undesirable to use this mixture, if before you took any drug from its members. For example, analgin. In this way, you can cause an overdose.
  • Do not take lytic mixture if you are suffering from pain. For example, rezi in the abdomen. This is explained by the fact that you may have a concomitant disease. For example, appendicitis. Such an injection will not only relieve the pain, but will also dull the symptoms, and therefore the disease will be started.
  • It is inadmissible to use this composition if the child has an allergy to one of the components. To test the reaction to the drug, it is enough to drip a few drops under the lower eyelid. If the baby felt burning and itching, then the reception of the drug is impossible.

As we see, lytic mixtures have a pronounced effect, but they should be used with caution.
