"Lamborghini Gallardo" is a whole series of sports cars that, starting in 2003, were produced by the same company for ten years. During this period of time, the car has been modernized and improved many times. Moreover, several modifications were made, among which there is even a police version. The series is slightly smaller compared to the Lamborghini Aventador, however it has become much more popular. For the first time in public, the model debuted in 2003 during an automobile exhibition in Geneva.

For the entire history of the brand's existence, the Lamborghini Gallardo machine has become the most mass. This is evidenced by the fact that in just two years, about three thousand copies of the car were produced (approximately the same Diablo models were created for eleven years). Many experts consider the main reason for this success is the relatively low price for this brand. Talking about the cost of Lamborghini Gallardo, it should be noted that everyone who wants to buy a model needs to shell out an amount that is almost half as much compared to the same Diablo, and is 165 thousand US dollars.

In the development of the concept of the car, in addition to the designers of the company itself, the experts from the firm Audi took an active part. It is the latter that owns the design of the body and engine, completely made of aluminum. The body of the car is produced in two German enterprises, after which it is transported to Italy to complete the assembly. In general, the design is somewhat like the model Murcielago. This is not at all surprising, since the creation of both cars was led by Luc Donkervolk. The main difference of such a car as "Lamborghini Gallardo" was the replacement of vertical doors with traditional ones.

An important advantage of the model is the rear view, which has become more extensive. The management of the car was greatly facilitated due to the large number of electronic systems used here. They also made the car more maneuverable. The five-liter engine of the car is installed in front of the rear axle on the base. It has a V-shape and consists of ten cylinders. The power plant is 500 horsepower. In 2005, a new, updated version of the car was born . In total, only 250 copies of the model were released, in the name of which appeared the letters "SE", which was deciphered as "Special Edition". The new "Lamborghini Gallardo" tuning touched almost all the elements. First of all, the basic motor was improved. Due to some improvements, the acceleration time to 100 km / h decreased to 4.2 seconds, and the maximum speed of the car increased to 315 km / h. You can see the engine well thanks to the transparent cover. Unlike the previous version, the car boasts a full drive, a rear view camera for convenient parking, as well as the latest security systems.

As for the exterior, then absolutely all the cars of the "SE" series are two-color. At the same time, the roof, bumpers, rear-view mirror housings, as well as the motor cover are black. For other body elements, gray, green, orange or yellow color is provided. The cost of the car was about 200 thousand US dollars.

Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder

During the car dealership in the German city of Frankfurt, which took place in 2005, debuted another version of the "Lamborghini Gallardo" - Spyder. The main feature of the novelty was the possibility of folding the fabric top of the roof. The mechanism is controlled via two special buttons located on the dashboard. The cover of the engine compartment, which the designers decorated with narrow slots designed to drain air, became almost flat. The rear window acts as an aerodynamic screen. The designers of the company paid much attention to strengthening the body of the car. More specifically, the windshield and thresholds were reinforced in the modification. Police modification

Since 2008, there has been a very interesting event in the history of the brand. In October, the Italian police were officially presented with several Polizia "Lamborghini Gallardo" cars, designed specifically for this purpose. This modification differed from the others in the presence of some elements intended for the qualitative performance of the work of the servants of the law. In particular, the manufacturer installed in these cars a video surveillance system designed to fix cases of offenses. Its activation is performed by the driver, after which the GPS system can monitor the criminal. Moreover, modern technologies make it possible in the way to calculate the distance and speed of the suspect's movement and even transfer photos from the cameras to the nearest police stations.
