Kulis checkpoint and how to replace it correctly

Kulisa checkpoint - so usually in the common people they call such an important part of the car as the thrust of the drive control gearbox. Without this element, the correct operation of the vehicle is impossible. And therefore, if the wings of the check point breaks, it must be repaired urgently, otherwise it can lead to such unpleasant consequences as the failure of the clutch disc.

What you need to remember when repairing

It is worth noting that when replacing or repairing the drive train, the gear lever usually becomes out of position. Strictly speaking, because of this transfer is not included, especially the first, back and second. It should also be noted that the wings of the gearbox are sometimes incorrectly tuned. Because of this, it starts crunching. And to get rid of these shortcomings, you should work a little with the "wings", or rather, adjust it. It is worth noting that someone has a new box - that was lucky, because there is a wire speed switching. And this means that the passage of the checkpoint does not need adjustment. But, nevertheless, a certain work will have to be done.

Adjustment

So, first you need to turn on the rear gear. After that, the clamp is loosened and the gear lever is put in the cabin - it's not important how. Then tighten the yoke, then check the switch. Strictly speaking - it's almost everything. The last thing to do is check the inclusion of all the transmissions. In the event that the gears are inaccurately turned on or the free travel of the lever is increased, you should pay attention to the bushings of the drive axle or directly to it. The same can be if the lever vibrates when the car is in motion. He must without jamming and freely rotate in the so-called ball joint. Otherwise it is necessary to replace the lever and the bushings of the rods.

Replacement of a stage of a check point

To perform this work, you must have a flat-blade screwdriver and two "12" keys. So, the first thing to do is to unscrew the fastening bolt nut, then remove the bolt. Then, from the eyelet of the lever, it is necessary to take out the plastic sleeves and, as already mentioned, if they are worn out or even more broken, they must be replaced. Then the handle is removed from the lever. Next, you need to unscrew the nut of fastening the link of the transmission and remove the washer, as well as the reactive traction. Then the nut of the fastening bolt of this lever must also be unscrewed and the bolt removed. Then the arm of the bracket lever is removed, and the buffer is removed from the lever axis. But that is not all. Then it is necessary to remove the plastic bushing and fixing plate of the bolt from the lever axis, after which it must be unscrewed and the draft removed from the eyelet. Then the same bushings are extracted from it. The shift lever must be removed only after it is brought down. After the fixing spring is pinched, and it is removed from the bracket. Rubber and plastic bushes must be removed from the lever. You should carefully inspect them and washers. In the event that they have signs of wear, they must be replaced. And the last thing is that the drive rods and the lever must be installed in the reverse order. On this substitution can be considered complete.

Nuances

It is worth noting that it does not matter at all what exactly is the pull of the drive: the wagon gearbox VAZ or any other car. In any case, it is necessary to cut out the elements from the exhaust system and disassemble it. So, at least, manufacturers recommend it. Actually, the replacement process should be carried out either on the lift or on the inspection ditch. And, most importantly, if you feel the vibration of the lever when you move the vehicle, you should not hesitate to replace the two plastic sleeves that are in the lower head. And the thrust itself is desirable to install in accordance with all marks applied before removal.
