"Kudykina Mountain" (safari park) - a place of rest for the whole family

At 11 km from the city of Zadonsk, on the territory of 500 hectares, there is "Kudykina Mountain" - a safari park with a lot of entertainment. Adults and children this place attracts beautiful nature and the opportunity to actively spend time. Safari Park began its work in 2007 and is located on the wide bank of the Don River. Safari Park has become home to buffaloes, llamas, peacocks, ostriches, kangaroos, yaks, deer, musk oxen. There are also a variety of waterfowl species, many of which live in the Kamenka River.

The entrance for all visitors to the territory is free. The operating mode is from 10 to 20 hours. In the park, besides the inspection of animals and birds, one can find many entertainments for active or leisurely rest, as well as a snack and enjoy the magnificent nature and the absence of city fuss.

Scythian wooden fortress - one of the main attractions of "Kadykina Mountain." Safari Park with its appearance has become even more attractive to visitors. Entrance to the territory of the fortress is paid - 50 rubles. Inside you can see the old square and houses built in the Russian style. For adults, and especially children, it will be very interesting to see the work of a blacksmith or a potter, look at a weaver and buy some souvenirs for memory.

On a hot summer day, a large pond with cool water awaits all visitors to the Kudykina Gora Reserve. Safari Park initially did not have natural reservoirs on its area, therefore it was equipped with artificial water. Its depth is small, but the pond is suitable for bathing adults and children. In winter, instead of the beach there is a skating rink.

For small visitors, a safari park offers a variety of entertainment and a large children's playground, made in the shape of a ship. On its territory children actively and cheerfully spend time in joint games. Also there you can make a few photos to remember with your favorite cartoon characters.

Directly inside the park, visitors can ride a horse harness. The cost of entertainment is 200 rubles. at one o'clock. Animal enclosures can be fed with fruits or vegetables, which, if desired, are purchased at the entrance to the territory. Safari Park offers all comers to take a few lessons in horse riding or try the healing effect of hippotherapy. Still no visitor was disappointed with the communication with horses - these beautiful and intelligent animals.

Two natural springs are located in a place of rest called "Kudykina Gora". Safari Park, a map of which is very diverse and interesting, offers visitors to enjoy tasty fresh water and even dip into the font. Not far from the springs are huge wooden sculptures "The Trojan Horse" and "Bull", where you can make memorable photos.
